5 days in PORTUGAL! (travel vlog) lisbon, porto, & the duoro valley | morgan yates

Welcome to my Portugal travel vlog! We just spent 2 nights in Porto (visiting the Duoro Valley & trying alllll the port wine), and 3 days in Lisbon soaking up all the good food, sightseeing, & gorgeous city views (including on a sunset boat cruise!). We loved Portugal for its affordability & variety of things to do (well we loved Lisbon more than Porto lol) and will definitely be back! Hopefully this vlog can serve as a mini travel guide to give you ideas for your next trip to Portugal.

I love these travel videos!! My husband & I have not been out of the US and we have no idea where to start when it comes to planning trips. Your videos help me so much get inspired on where to go and give me confidence that it’s not too daunting. Maybe you can do some informative videos on how you pick the places you go to, and how you find the flights etc… like a “how to plan foreign travels for beginners” 😂

What month was this that it was so cold? I do hear Porto is kinda gloomy. We’re going to Lisbon and Porto next summer but will only be in Porto one day. Looks like a nice trip. Minus the rain. I get irrationally annoyed when it rains on vacation.

Felt the exact same way about Porto! Loved the wine cave tour we did & our airbnb was gorgeous, but I thought the city was kinda boring.

Yeah I don’t get why I heard sooo many people hype up Porto like it’s so much better than Lisbon 😅 I felt the opposite

@@MorganYatesVids That is how I felt about Porto too! There were a few bars and things to do but I liked Lisbon better! I also think it is an age thing, like I think my parents would love Porto for the relaxed vibes but I definitely preferred Lisbon or even Coimbra (which is also small)

@@jackies2885 An "age thing"? Lool Porto is more popular than Lisbon even for university folk. You both seem the type to expect everything you wanted to fall unto your lap instead of actually making the effort to do proper research.

We set aside money weekly all year that’s reserved just for our summer trip. When you break it down like that, it’s a much more achievable goal
