5 Days in Quebec City With Kids - Family Travel Vlog

We had an absolutely amazing vacation in Quebec City Canada! If you're looking for a Quebec City travel guide geared towards families, check out this video, as we'll be covering all the things to do in Quebec City with kids. New to our channel? Quebec City is full of European style and cuisine, but also has the friendliness and quality of life that makes Canada one of our favorite countries. We stayed at Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac, which was absolutely gorgeous.
Some of the attractions we visited included:

- Rue du Petit Champlain

- Mega Parc
- The Old Port of Quebec
- Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church
- The Old Quebec Funiculuar
We spent an entire day at l'Ile d'Orleans. If you're not familiar, Ile d'Orleans is an island that's part of Quebec City where there are lots of farmers and artisans that produce delicacies special to the region. Here are all the places we visited on the island:

The ketchup flavour chips were my absolute favourite. I would eat them every day at lunch in high school and I loved it when I was pregnant. Now I eat the regular flavour Lays chips

I grew up in Mich and we ate ketchup chips all the time. Never knew it was considered a Canadian thing. We bought them in Michigan and there were various brands. 🤣 MI is on the border of Canada though, and we crossed all the time. 🤣

This is such a fun video! the food all looks delicious and I definitely want to visit the falls! 😍 I’ve never tried ketchup chips but maybe one day. My favourite part of the video has to be the seals though, that was super awesome!

Hey Amy, thanks for your kind words! Yes the food was absolutely amazing and the falls were beautiful. Next time I'd definitely want to take the cable cars up there for a closer look. Also at the top of the falls you can zipline across! So if you're a thrill-seeker, that would be a fun experience! And yes, getting to "train" the seals was such a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Hey Vince thanks for watching and for your kind words! I definitely wouldn’t categorize Quebec City as a budget destination (though the exchange rate between US and Canadian dollars is still quite favorable to Americans as of now) but we also veered on the more upscale side of things as you saw since that’s our thing 😂 But if you went with less expensive hotels and restaurants, you could save a lot as the actual activities we did were average priced or even free!
