Loved your review of my home town. I'm a 67-year old west coast Canadian who has the webbed toes to prove it ... haha. I find it so interesting to see the foods I grew up with now featured as culinary art. The Canadian west coast has a diverse population that blended various cuisines from Greek/Italian to Chinese to oh so many others. There has always been a strong English, Scottish, and Irish base but in recent years people from the Middle East and South Asia have contributed flavours that knock the food senses through the roof. 👋😎 Best Place to Live

I've been to almost all of these, but L'Abbatoir is one that was always on my list but I never got to go to, so we will definitely go at some point when we're back visiting family and friends. Without calculating it up exactly, just based on general Vancouver knowledge, the hotel would be in the $300-$400/night range depending on time of year and day of the week, and most of these dinner places highlighted are $200-$300 for 2 people if you're both ordering a good number of dishes and a couple of drinks each. Anh and Chi is a little cheaper than Minami and L'Abbatoir (numbers = CAD)

Try Richmond by the Airport tons of places ro ear including the night market in the summer Also Surrey a huge indo Canadian population with many fine restaurant's. Any suburb of Vancouver is a huge mix of ethnic food
