I've been watching tons of "What to read" videos, and it's really cool that you've mentioned five I'm yet to hear from others. Thanks for the insight!

Actually the hardcover version of Designing Design is amazing. It's fabric/like and there is a paragraph of text debossed into the cover. It's amazing. Super hard to find, though.

Dude, I knew there was a connection from Japan to modern minimalism. Thanks, will pick them up.

ShaggtyDoo For sure! In that case, go for "Designing Design" first. He speaks the most on the essence of design and it's roots within Eastern culture.

great books on design, often referenced, but hard to get and most are quite expensive:(

Gregor Rosenauer I actually noticed that when making this. No wonder design knowledge is relatively weak amongst most people, the best books are hard to buy! Hopefully, I'll write something for the every-day individual and keep it affordable!

agreed but depends on what you are trying to do, you can buy 3 books that basically have the same information, check out the furur on youtube he has a agency in Santa monica and teaches more about getting bigger clients

Preston Attebery yeah what a shame, I think in the times some old design classics should be really public domain for the common good... Main obstacle is the price, availability is not that bad, there's even second hand options at the well known one shop.
