Fitting ward on a retaliation build REALLY ups the survival to another level. With the buffs to ward, it's really common for it to be able to go to full before you take another hit. The unique belt fits really well too

@@enekoarcos8026 take a look on the unique belt Ynda's Stand. It transforms 50% of the armor and evasion from chest into ward. Ward is hit before life or energy shield and it comes back fully in 2 seconds after it was used. The disadvantage is that it is consumed instantly. Since on a max block retaliation build the only hits that matters are the big ones, it raises the survivability a lot.

The only thing that you can really change there are the weapons. Having T1 +dex in every item, spending 2 more passives to take that +30 dex on the tree, and then swapping to 1000 edps weapons seems like the only choice to boost this build to the peak. But T1s combos like Chaos res, Ele ress, + life, + armor, + Dex cost 10-15 or even more divines for each piece. You can kinda try to get T1 Chaos ress + life + % armor + Ele ress ring and mist it to have like 90% chaos ress, 300+ hp, and 40% all ress in one ring, but that's super expensive rng to play with. We are talking about the mirror+ territory, and for the mirror you can build more comfy character.

Been happily face tanking Sirus' death beams without issue with this build. Got about 7 div into it and Sirus can't hurt me :) More DIE beams is more retaliarion procs, so keep m coming, Sirus! Not immortal to all things mind you, there is stil the random one-shot here and there (91% block is not 100% :p ) , especially if you juice maps with Expedition and all its scarabs :p Worth it though. Fun build, do recommend!

Thanks for this build. Have got really far this league with it. One question, why not take the Physical Mastery "Hits have 50% Chance to ignore enemy physical damage reduction" ? This along with Bastion Breaker gives 100% Physical damage reduction on mobs. Also for jewels, you can get 6% Damage taken recouped as life on the hindered/corrupted blood jewel which helps a bit.

Hmm... Something is off. I mean, I have exactly same tree, all labs done, I have invested way more - about 30 divs - in this build. 76% ele resses, 75% chaos ress, constant 90% phy ress. 70% block, over 100% incoming crit dmg reduction, perf roll uniques (weapons corrupted with AS), more hp (4.6k at this moment). I have no problems with killing enemies and bosses, but with survivability. The only difference is that I'm using Blood Stance instead of Punishment, because I crafted rmr on my helmet and can just run with 2 auras + stance. I avoid reflect maps, yet still I sometimes get one shotted. Especially on T16 and T17 maps. I know that the belt can make enemies crit, but this build has like 120%+ crit dmg reduction, so it's not a thing.

The belt gives them lucky damage as well so it can rip you still if you are struggling with build change it yo bleed glad eviscerate i do have a video on it made it 1 divine but its not 1 div anymore

@@Dexykai Yeah, at this point I wonder if the unique belt is even worth it. You can't tell what buff/debuff you gain every 5 sec. Sometimes I get "Attacks cannot hit you" twice in the row and I just stand in place for that long, before I can even use any ability. The damage, even unbuffed is already there, so idk if potions with 3 charges on hit + ~50% crit chance on everything (except the hp one with Blood immunity) + Belt with +20% global crit chance and some nice hp + raw dmg wouldn't be better. You would end up with about 15-20% crit chance, but it would be constant. Belts like that cost few divs tho, and the pots are like 1div each, so I will test it later.

Go into the middle of circle only the ring deals damage in middle you can heal up and if they hit you and you block you will get enough mana from mastery to deal damage

Well i said an estimated cost for average player buying base items throwing essences at them costed me around 2-3 divine , we need 40% crit damage reduction which we can get from a single watcher jewel , on rare items we just need life and res and chaos res , it is simple , you can also join discord server new players help each other about the build

For upgrades you wanna change the build completly and scale only 1 damage type , you might wanna check the latest video it might be better ;) and many people have made builds around it so you can follow them and upgrade , in the end there is no ideal watcher

Hey ,If you are talking about that moment that i am petrified and due to a bug i was bot abpe to escape it is because i am spamming life flask , it gets charges when i am hit so can sustain it during packs of monsters , we don't have a good source of life recovery in the build .

I added two paradoxes to it for impale and physical damage, forbiddens for impale, rings for flat physical damage, cluster jewel, light of mining for physical damage In general, I twisted and twisted the POB and the damage increased to 25kk, it seems that the EHP did not drop much, but one-shots still often kill, especially from meteors on T17 Apparently I need somehow increase max hit​@Dexykai

Yep you did well , that is the right way to scale it , but if you like the more tanky version maybe check the latest video were i use eviscerate for bleed damage , you are not gonna be one shoted at all , maybe from DD monsters in t17

Having the build is 1 side of the apple and the other is the skill and knowledge how to play , your build might have errors in it , or you are doing map mods that will break the build , every time you die you need to identify what did kill you or you will not improve , i hope it helps you and if not join discord server and say it there maybe one of the members would be able to help

hey mate quick question. i looked on the pob and noticed it has a 91% block and a 88% spell block chance. my current character with same exact tree and just about same exact gear only goes to 70% block and 65% spell block. is there something im missing or does it calculate it that way due to lucky block chance? edit Great build btw, having a lot of fun with it

Sorry, but I didn't get it very well. The difference between the two videos was some lvls, the amulet anointment e eldritch craft on the gear? I'm leveling a character to try this out, got some of the equipment and thinking going right to this 5 div version (got like 4 ou 3 div rn and lvl 75-ish)
