Don't let the melted hole bother you. I thrifted a Patagonia cashmere blend sweater that had some tiny holes. It's a super soft grey color. I used old jeans and cut different sized hearts and just blanket stitched them onto the sweater, over the holes. It's one of my favorites!!

The graphic tee is my favorite. It's inspiring. If you make another tie top, they look cute on you, may I suggest another way to attach the ties? When you sew the ties closed, leave a gap as long as the shirt. Do the fold down like you did on the end of the tie but sandwich your shirt inside before sewing. It's a bit faster and makes for slightly less bulk at the waist. You could attach it like you do a waist band on pants, but I think my way is easier. I'm all for easy.

I like the yellow T-shirt the best. You did a beautiful art piece on that one. You need to finish your edges so your garments will look better and last longer. Not everything I have tried to make, or up-cycle, have turned out the way i wanted them to.

in my experience, it fades over time, but not necessarily more than any other store-bought graphic T! Just make sure it has enough time to set in before you wash it (I usually wait a couple days)
