Oh Wendy, I just love all these! Your wreath brings such joy to my heart as I remembered my Grandmom and I would go out to her garden to pick pansies for me to bring into school for our May procession and to our Blessed Mary. ✝️ Those flowers on the top of the wreath reminded me of the variegated purple colors which were my favorite! Your grand daughter will have these sweet memories of you throughout her whole life! I am now 65 years old. Only you could make something beautiful out of used tin cans! LOL! ✝️🎚💜

Gorgeous wreath. Purple has always been my favorite color. When I was 16, my grandmother bought me purple clothing..from inside out top to bottom, literally!! I loved it. I was her " sweet pet". Oh wow, Vicki!! That’s so awesome!! Did I already tell you that my mom was my CCD teacher in the 4th grade? (It May have been someone else) But now I teach the 1st year Confirmation Class at my church. I’ve been teaching the youth groups and sacrament classes for 10 years now and I absolutely LOVE it!! 🙏 After tomorrow, the diocese has cancelled all masses due to the Coronavirus and I am so sad I won’t be receiving the Holy Eucharist until this comes to an end! It really makes me realize how blessed we are to be able to go to church of our own free will. 😭☝️❤️🙏🕊✝️

So true, Carol!! In Catholicism, purple is the color for Lent which is the 40 days before Easter (representing the number of days Jesus spent in the desert before His ministry) and then on the resurrection day, Easter, we use white for the clean and new beginning He brings. Last year I got that same sign for a wreath for Easter and used purple and white deco mesh to decorate with. My D. T. , this year, has nothing with a cross on it. I’m so glad that I found that one. Yours is beautiful! You have a great weekend! 😊✝️

Colours are lovely the candles were my favourite but also loved the framed wreath which could hang all year round if you took the Easter card off. I also loved the sign and i would be tempted to make a version with a blackboard surface you could use chalk on to change messages every day
