I think you actually represent four-way independence at as close to a 100% proficiency level as one could get. Of all the greatest drummers, you might be THAT one person. Oh and I saw a Dennis Chambers interview: he said you're changing the world of drumming and that nobody else has been able to pull off some of the things you have; in other words, you rose above, and then raised the standard. That says a lot coming from Dennis, one of the goats for sure, but what I love is that you're not just showing off for entertainment but you're inspiring and motivating other percussionists to practice more. As a drummer (not quite near your league lol), I think it's a great cause

hes using the dualist single double peddle. unbelievable how good he is with it. I'll bet he multitasks all day long on purpose to learn how to independently use each limb for different things at the same time. his ability to separate his limbs from each other comes natural to him. not many people have that ability and it's so awesome to see jorge use that skill at its finest. estepario is hands down the most disciplined person ive ever seen

No, just practice. I dont have the same setup he does but i can maintain multiple rhythms simultaneously. Ive been on a drumset since i was 3 yrs old, made my wrists faster by bouncing tennis balls on my snare, made my rounds faster by practicing for 8 hrs a day on my quints in high school....not every drummer dedicated their youth to perfecting their craft thats what made 1st chair at All-State competitions so easy....
