Wow you are SO creative! I’ve been trying to mess around and find new tricks like this in my builds. I didn’t know about the debug vent, thanks for mentioning that. I had been using the regular one because i saw it being used in other tutorials and it kept snapping to the wall and I couldn’t figure out how others were doing it in their tutorials.
@Schnuck014 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes, I always use the debug vent, it is much, much easier and you can always make a 1x1 room and put 20 vents or so in it and save it your library and then just plop it down when you need vents =)

Wow! Thanks so much. Wondered how you did some of those things in your speed builds. What an inspiration you are. You've got an eye for house design, for sure. Keep the videos coming. Love 'em! Also, is there a way to build split level staircases while keeping the ground floor intact or having to build three stories? If anyone knows that secret, I'm sure you do. ;)
@Schnuck015 жыл бұрын
Thank you! There's really no way to do a split level staircase within an enclosed house w/o using the methods you mentioned, you could kind of do different levels by not using an enclosed room with the illusion that it is, for example just placing tall windows instead of walls.
@normantate93165 жыл бұрын
@@Schnuck01 Thank you for that good idea. Sometimes the obvious eludes me. That's why we need such creative, out-of-the-box thinkers like you. :) (Wish EA would offer a few split-level staircases for our builds.) Thank you for your videos! They are reaaally helpfull :) Q: How do you rotate objects (for example a bookcase) in another plane, not just the standard one. I have seen many of yor buildings with bookcases on the floor and logs standing vertical instead of horizontal. Please, show us that trick!
@Schnuck015 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much! If you play on P.C. You need the T.O.O.L mod to rotate in different directions, you also can elevate and lower objects with extreme precision with this mod (and there's even more stuff you can do) This mod will not flag your build as modded and the objects stay rotated even if the downloader doesn't have the mod.

@@Schnuck01 testingcheats true and then bb.showhiddenobjects and then bb.showliveeditobjects (though, I've tried them all in every order. Also after Ctrl shirft C ofc) and then I go on the show all part of the item catalogue. I've tried repairing my game and deleting all the mods, at the start I tried re-starting the game, re-starting my PC etc. What do you mean by deleting the thumbnail??
@Schnuck015 жыл бұрын
@@dinothepenguking8824 Have you tried typing in bb.showliveeditobjects and typing ** in the search box and scrolling to the bottom? You no longer need testing cheats enabled to unlock the live edit objects. Also, if you have a mod like McCC you can enable these cheats so you no longer have to type any cheats in. If you go into your documents/EA/Sims4 folder you can delete the cache folder and the onlinethumbnailcache folder, deleting these can sometimes resolve issues (your game will generate new ones when the game is restarted)
