Morgan L im not bethany but i just recently finished my freshman year and i over thought it a lot and high school was nothing like i expected it it was actually pretty amazing the only thing that sucks is that you will lose a lot of friends sadly you will easily find out who your real friends are. Second please please don't skip class don't slack in school because you want to be "cool" these 4 years are the ones that really matter. You will make a lot of friends also and just enjoy those 4 years in highschool:))) good luck hope its a good first day when you go back to school:))

Morgan L I just graduated from high school and trust me, these 4 years are super important! Your high school GPA starts from day 1. A lot of people come into high school thinking they are going to have a lot of fun and slack off in their academics. Then, once that first report card comes in, they see how low their GPA is and spend the rest of their high school years trying to bring it up. It is much easier to maintain a high GPA than to try to bring a low one up. And this is one of the things colleges look at. Also, get involved! Join a club and volunteer. Especially junior and senior year. Colleges love well-rounded people who do well in school and still manage to be involved in other things. Also, if your school offers them, take as many AP and dual credit classes as possible. Trust me, they aren't as hard and scary as they seem. If you ever feel discouraged, just tell yourself "if other people have done it, I can do it too!" You will be fine. Make the most of everyday because trust me, high school flies by. Good luck! ☺
