What a helpful video! I have found that I can print with my inkjet printer, iron the printed page and spray with a charcoal fixative by Latour( any brand will work) and then I can tea dye it without the ink running. 😁

arhh perfect Paige! the first Crinoline lady i printed over coffe paper was actually avocado dyed paper, it was easier to say coffee dyed to keep the video in an ordorly manor. it didnt turn out pink so i reboiled the brew with a pinch of baking soda, that worked! 🥰🐝🌹🦋 crafty hugs Donna

And eeee there she is. I was already waiting for your video. What a super fun tip with the Doille I will definitely do it my Journal is waiting for nice paper. That is fun to use paint or watercoller pencils on your paper. Your paper lifts everything with the paint super. Your wife is so sweet. The dying is really cool. I always forget the edge punch. And it gives such a nice effect. What cool ideas you give us again. And certainly washi tape so nice to brighten up your pages. Really nice again Donna. Again a lot of ideas and a nice basis to make a new journal. Thank you for this video you have explained it very well again.😀

Wow, these are lovely. Donna, you have SO many fantastic ideas! I often use book pages from discarded books in my junk journals. But I find it hard to write on these text-heavy pages unless I cover the text with scrapbook paper. Works, but is dull. Do you have any other ideas about turning text-heavy book pages into writing spaces? Would love to see what thoughts you have about this!

I know exactly what you mean Lisa! Thanks for your lovely compliment. I often use the brown coloured pattern tissue paper or white tissue paper and glue over the top of the pages, if you use gel matte medium only inbetween the layers the top layer stays orginal. You can use white acrylic paint to tint text pages so they become more background than focus. I dont use gesso bc it turns out rough 😉🐝🌹🦋 crafty hugs Donna
