5 EASY & SIMPLE WAYS TO MAKE FRENCH COUNTRY SHABBY CHIC FARMHOUSE BOWS! DIY RAG MESSY BOW! (186)

In this video I show how to make 5 quick, easy and budget friendly french country, shabby chic, farmhouse style bows. The first DIY bow is a burlap bow that I make using a large coffee bean bag. I show how easy it is to turn a few pieces of rustic, frayed burlap into stylish and trendy bows for seasonal wreaths, baskets and many other decor pieces. The second DIY, is a cute bow that I make using 3 burlap strips and hot glue. This is an easy bow that would look great embellishing a sign, frame or any rustic style decor piece. The third DIY bow is the highly requested messy, rag bow. I show how you can take strips of torn fabrics, scrap ribbons, lace and make a truly shabby chic style bow that will enhance so many decor pieces! DIY #4 bow is another way to make the messy, rag bow using a criss cross pattern and also show how you can add rafia to make it more rustic. DIY #5 bow is a very easy looped bow that I make using a wide strip of burlap. This bow can be embellished to go with any season and can also be layered to make a bigger version. I give inspiration and ideas on how to be creative with the bows and the many ways they can add detail to many decor pieces. I have included links below to some of my other DIY videos that I featured today. I'm always trying to up cycle pieces I already have on hand without having to spend a lot of money on purchasing new pieces for my home. I want to show how you can take things you may be thinking of getting rid of and demonstrate how you can totally transform them into cute fall decor for your home not to mention the hours of enjoyment you get from working on these easy and relaxing projects. These DIY projects will make great additions to any french country, shabby, farmhouse vignette in your home for the upcoming fall and holiday seasons. Hi Teresa! Just catching up on some videos I hadn’t been able to watch earlier. Thank you so much for showing a DIY of all the gorgeous bows we’ve all admired in your videos, you make it look so simple!! Interestingly a friend picked up some really wide burlap ribbon for a SONG ($9.99 10yds! Wired and no wire) at “Tuesday Morning” and I thought about what a gorgeous bow they would make but couldn’t figure out how to rangle so much fabric?? Breaking each section down never occurred to me!! Can’t wait to try doing one!! 1 question.... the “rag bows” on top of the pumpkins.... is the stem there? Is that how you attached them? I have QUITE A FEW similar pumpkins BUT the stems are really short, would be impossible to tie a bow around. Depending on your answer to above, how would you attach them on top?? Any tips or hints much appreciated!!

Thank you so much! So glad you got some ideas for bows and my pumpkin did have a stem. I use a dab of hot glue to attach where I want the bow and if I want to reuse my bow it can easily be removed 💚

I loved every bow you made. I very much love. watching your channel. I made the rag wreath. that u made but for some reason mine doesn't look as full as yours and I used the same wreath you did. I'm wondering if it's bc my strips are shorter. I also made the rag pumpkin. I loved it.
