This man is so underrated. He’s taught me most of what I know about skateboarding, his videos are amazing quality, and he’s George! What more could you want?

I'm glad you made another one. I've been trying axle stalls for years and never got it down becuase of my bad habits with the trick maybe I could try some of these instead.
@davidmokine20443 жыл бұрын
For axle stalls it helps a lot to be able to air out. When you’re good with your air outs then go into the axle stall thinking like you’re going to do a small air out. Make sure to lead with your front shoulder and really turn it in so that you get the 90 degree turn to get on the coping. Make sure to exaggerate this shoulder motion and to turn it more than you think you need to at first. Also learning axle stall drop-ins first helps a lot too. For those just have your toe side wheels locked up against the coping and then shift your back truck so that the heel side wheel is locked up against the coping, and then you just kick turn in and lean forward. I hope this helps you dude, learning axle stalls really opened up my skating and I hope you get them.

Thanks for the vid! I'm just starting to learn quarter pipe tricks. I can only do a rock to fakie and rock and roll. Do you all feel like it's too early to start learning nose stall revert? It's a dream trick of mine! Is it easier to do nose stall to switch drop in or nose stall revert?

I really wish there was some smaller quarters near me to learn these on...cooper and maccarren are just a bit too big, want a little one to start on... George have you been to Under the K yet???? In Gpoint under the Kosciusko right near sarge's?? Place is so sick....don't know if it was made for skaters, but it sure feels that way....great ledges, gaps, ride on grinds...really fun place...
@rayvindawkins53043 жыл бұрын
Same bro. I go to Kennedy park and Long Beach park on Long Island but the quarter pipes are way too big for me. Same with the mini ramps. One of them has a tiny like 2 ft quarter but that’s pretty much it. Something small like a three foot mini ramp would help

We have been calling that third trick a "pop rock" since the 80s...its named after the candy and cuz you pop into rock. So either fakie pop rock or nollie pop rock. And to your point, Fakie is just way better and looks rad as hell. 🔥🛹👏
