Betty here.... Beth, I stumbled onto your youtube channel a few days ago and I love your style tips. I am 63 years old and after having abdominal surgery last week was feeling kind of down. Today my best friend took me to lunch (I can't drive yet)and shopping at our favorite thrift store. The shopping gods were smiling upon me! Using your tips I scored a black blazer, blush ballet slippers, two handbags, several scarves (4 are silk designer items), a necklace, and a long sleeved designer tee. All under $60. This was just the boost I needed and I'm having so much fun putting things together. Thanks so much for your wonderful videos....you are just what the doctor ordered!!

You look so awesome and you talk to us as if we are right in front of you. Your tips can be budget friendly. Like that. Also like the rules, along with the 4 B’s. And you always include true-life examples. I’m in my 70’s and now require corrective shoes following corrective surgery a decade ago. Your tips are pretty adaptable for me except for shoes. But I so love seeing women wear the fun shoes! Brings back good memories and feelings. I enjoy vicariously.

What would you suggest I do to creat a style to help thin my packed closets and not be frustrated when deciding what to wear? I am revamp my wardrobe, with the intention of clearout of winter [am in New Zealand] clothes. You have given me some great tips on styling which I can apply when choosing what to keep or what to pass on. My 'style uniform' is dark blue jeans/black pants, choice of three tops [depending on what I am going to] my blue blazer or [p]leather jacket.. And sneakers [black as I wear afo's [splints] and a wheelchair user. so once again thanks for the great tiips.

Thanks for the great style tips. I always try to remember the proportion tip. Using that one tip makes my clothes look so much more stylish. Also the monochrome dressing and the tip about developing your personal go-to outfit. My go to outfit is to wear a jacket with everything. It makes me feel so much more polished to wear that third piece of clothing. I enjoy your show very much.

Fairly new on your channel. Love all your tips but, I find that after Covid I don’t really go out much so I find myself lazy to get all dress. Definitely not buying clothing like I use too for Fall. But hopefully the world will get better and will be able too go out again and dress up.

Beth, I love your style! Love this video and while watching I was thinking of things I’d like to learn from you in future videos. You could break each one of these tips down and dive deeper into why they work. For example, explain why you pick a certain accessory and how you know it works and what we should look for when applying your tips. I would also like to see you do a tutorial on body proportions. I have heard so much about “thirds” but don’t really know what that means for me. I figured out that I like tops that hit me at about 25”. But, with jeans getting higher waisted the tops are getting shorter! Now I need to figure this out! If you have a word of wisdom about this, please share!

Hello Beth...I very much enjoy your style tips! You are an inspiration for classy, timeless looks...and your shorter hair is so flattering! I do have one request (or suggestion) though....I am very distracted from your message by the constant movement of your hands....I know some people talk with their hands, but maybe clasping them in front of you on the table for a bit would be helpful! Or if you are standing, holding a scarf or bag that you are featuring would work.

Dear Beth, Thank you so much for your nice video's! What I wonder: how do you stay stylish and chic while having a German shepherd around? I have a German shepherd too, but in no time my nice clothes are dirty because of walking with her in the forest or because she hugs her head to my trousers ;-) For me it is the reason to always wear T-shirt and jeans in summer and a fleece and jeans in winter while I like beautiful clothes so much. I have been floundering a bit as a 54 year old mom and teacher...I used to dress very boho and funky when I was younger...Not feeling so comfortable in that style these days.
