but i want to know on how to make the crucible instead of buying one that might break because i am personally going to melt down more metals than just gold and silver like copper, aluminum, and titanium.

USCommando Melting gold or silver is rather easy since they have quite a low point
@XCerykX
@XCerykX 9 жыл бұрын
Yyunko You can melt aluminum just fine at home. Melting point isn't that much higher than gold and silver. Titanium you would just need a bigger furnace for.
@XCerykX
@XCerykX 9 жыл бұрын
USCommando For Gold, Silver and Copper, you won't have to worry about breaking it unless you drop it. It will, however, wear out and need to be replaced at some point. You'll also want to have seperate crucibles dedicated to each one to avoid possible contamination. But Samual is right, you really just need a blow torch for most home use. If you're talking like 4 or 5 oz+ though, that's might require a furnace.
