I love the truck and have run multiple BDS systems and loved them. What I don't understand is, why don't you guys show footage of using the truck? The photo ops are already in the right locations for some extra footage. Not many are running these right now (At least videos on youtube) so it would be nice to see it in action.

It sounds like the 37s may or may not fit depending on offset. Can you tell us the specific rim/tire specs so we know what fits for sure with 37s? It looks like a few other commenters have had this question as well.

I’m having you kit installed on my 2019 GMC Denali with ARC. I’m currently running a American Racing AR133 Intake wheel in a 20x9 0 offset. I have 275/60/20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers no rubbing at all. The tires only have 100 miles on them so the Shop is going to swap them for the same tire in a different size and I just have to pay the difference (which is awesome). Question is, what is the largest tire size I can go with without trimming? I would like a 295/65/20 or a 35/12.5 but really don’t want to trim. Nitto also has a 35x11.5 option. The Denali has the integrated mud flaps which I know makes it a little tighter than the Chevy. Any help would be much appreciated!!!

BDS Suspension so quick question... on the fox 2.5 coilovers with reservoirs... why is the stick orange and black on this truck but on other coilovers that are 2.5.. its grey and black? I'm thinking about putting your new 4' lift on my 2019 High Country. Two questions.. do you still have to do any cutting with the new Chevy? And will the front tires stick out farther than the rears? Thanks
@brandon3670114 жыл бұрын
Steve Richardson the tire will not stick out with the 2019 Silverados and it’s easier to install the new kits on the 2019s Silverado as far as cutting idk I’ll have to do research again to find out

ins't the geometry compromised if you are only dropping the differential 4.5 " instead of 6"???
@bdssuspension5 жыл бұрын
The differential isn’t necessarily dropped 4.5”. The differential drop can be dropped more or less and does not directly relate to the control arm drop. The differential drop depends upon CV bind at a full droop position and packaging of how it fits when dropped. The CV angles are still within their operating angles at a full droop condition. The control arm drop of 4.5” rather than 6” will not affect your steering geometry if you correctly design your steering knuckle for this position. Having control over the ball joint positions and tie rod position you can control your steering geometry to create the ideal steering geometry that you desire, I.E. controlling the camber, caster, toe change, Ackerman, scrub, etc. This lift system also passed the FMVSS-126 Compliance on 37" tires which makes this system the only lift system to achieve that and allow users to know that the steering geometry is safe.

Love your work! I have to buy a vehicle this next two weeks and have been looking at build prices and performance. I have been a loyal Chevy fan so I thought I’d ask you if you offer a kit that would permit me to do some faster desert running like a Raptor and yet still do some overlanding and rock crawling? I love the Raptor but my fiancé owned one before we met and during that time she lost her eight year old son so it’s just too difficult for her to get another one right now. I’m totally cool with that so I figured we’d build a killer Chevy to tackle it all. Possibly another brand, possibly even smaller like a ZR2 but I figured I’d ask the pros. Do you feel this kit would do everything I’m looking for, or would a lower lift and possible 2” long travel kit be better suited for our purpose by keeping a lower center of gravity for hauling ass? I’m trying to keep the approach and departure angles in mind and this kit looks awesome I’m just concerned with fast desert running.

@@korskiingm.t.bfamily7928 In general 35s are the largest tire we recommend on the '14-18 GMC Denali 1500 trucks with our 6" lift and even then the wheel width/backspacing specs are critical for clearance. While you're welcome to run any size tire/wheel you want, some trimming may be necessary. We don't offer 8" kits for the Magneride-equipped trucks.
