Well I've changed my mind numerous times on which is my favorite so im just going to say I LOVE them all!!! I will most definitely being doing several of these (the jar ring pumpkin, the sunflowers, my version of the wooden pumpkins with what I have to work with in my stash. I recently moved & had no place for my old time sewing machine but I adore that scarecrow!). I may have to try that scarecrow using fabritac glue 🤔. Anyway, sorry for the novel...FANTASTIC video 💖.

Where did you get the wood to make the half rounds for the pumpkins. How thick is the wood piece? And what color/brand of stain did you use for the first layer on it. Thanks.

Hello Bernice!! Thanks for stopping by. I cut the wood rounds out myself, using a scroll saw, and then cut them in half with the band saw. If you have a band saw or chop saw, you could buy wood rounds at your local craft or home improvement store & just cut them in half. However, if you do not have a saw, I have seen pre-cut half rounds at Hobby Lobby. The base coat is Waverly brand antiquing glaze. The other two colors are sandstone & ink black Waverly chalk paint.
