Have taken 1 of these black cab tourswhen visited Belfast 2018. Icn not recommend them enough, very interesting, insightful & sobering tour. While this guide does excellent & fair ballanced tour, I recommend taking 2 tours, 1 w/Catholic driver & 1 w/Protestant driver to get fuller view of what life was like in Belfast during that time.

As the tour guide surely knows, 'Top Gun' was a cold blooded killer (hence the nickname, having murdered at least 12 Catholic civilians) who was done in by drugs and internal loyalist feuds.

I always tell my mates who visit Belfast to do the taxi tours. If you're not irish, visit both sides. But don't go to Dublin, everyone hates Dublin.

Most weird divide between people People of same race, ethnicity ( Celtic) and having same surnames hating one another because of church affiliation Everyone is Catholic or Protestant but none, or very few are truly Christian
