I tried it yesterday and I followed your steps, resulting to a very similar result like yours. I learnt a lot thanks.

This is great, lots of usefull information, only thing I would do different is match the drop shadows of the stars with the spotlight that was added at the end. Keep these coming, I learned a lot from it.

Josh Josh Josh, thanks ! I knew you were going to do one ! and yes, this is the first 'real' comment with thought behind it. LOL. Got my coffee and am off to watch ! oh and Jordan, every time I see your arm I want to track it in AE hehe.

You reminded me to make sure we get a tutorial on this! Thank you. Perhaps we should track Jordan's arm!

@@SonduckFilm hehe, thanks Josh ! and yes.... you know I'm positive Jordan HAS tracked his arm for fun, I'm so sure of it, and yuppers it could come in handy ! hey ! I want to track that video I"m in... ohhh ! I can ! LOL. Thanks again Josh ! and... Jordan ! 😆 P.S. as I edit videos, I watch videos, and there are a ton of channels now that are doing these Xmas scenes and one of them - well the snow is so awesome on it, I asked Red Giant and they think it was made with their software, maybe I can post the video for ya somewhere. I know it's not good to post a link to another channel, as it pulls people away from your own channel so I won't do it here. The snow in this guy's video is over the top awesome though.

Hi Josh, ok, I posted a link to that snow falling video on your FB page and also in a Twitter message to you just now. P.S. I'm shocked that you aren't posting links to new videos on your FB page, last entry was back in 2020.... use every free tool available to ya I say ! 😁

This is a great tutorial! It's worth locking yourself in a room for. How do you make these rich colorful backgrounds? The nice red color is incredible! How do you do it?
@karanwadhwa79692 жыл бұрын
I wanna know too
@SThompsonRAMM_12032 жыл бұрын
Hello, you can make this background by going to the "Effect" Tab, then go down to "GENERATE" and choose "GRADIENT RAMP". From there I chose a light red for the Start color and a dark red for my End color. You can adjust the "crosshair" icon on either one (I chose the upper) to how the ramp is affected. Even eyeballing the colors, my background looks identical to that in the tutorial. I hope that helps.

If you're on an older version of After Effects, that would explain what you don't see it.

Are you on a time constraint of how long you have to finish these tutorials. You are going way too fast to keep up. You skipped the build animations of the text and just explained the blur animation part. You added several more stars and the little white graphics at some point, but never really talked about it. Bring the other person back Joshua to do these tutorials
