I started my ego degradation back in Dec 2015 Yes I did exactly what you did I threw away everything! Sold my property and my car too Yes loss of identity 2018/19 Loss of connection to family and friends 2021 It was a very disorienting time for me No I have never had anything effecting me mentally that severe

I didn't experience any psychological events such as dissociation or depersonalizatoin during my Ego Degradation. Mine was a matter of increasing and uncontrollable intense obsession and desperation to the point that I felt like ending it all to end my suffering. Instead, I started researching what the heck was happening to me and that's when I first learned the term "twin flames" and that it was my spiritual awakening. It was Eckhart Tolle's "The Power of Now" that explained it all so perfectly and I knew then the path that I had been called to take. I wouldn't say I was a "completely different person" on the other side, but my entire life has changed for the better now that I understand how the Ego mind operates and how to transcend it, as well as how to go within and be in touch with my Higher Self.

Wow, everything you have listed here is exactly what I went through in 2005. The trigger being very brutal divorce. In a way the ego degradation saved me because there was some peace in the middle of a ton of chaos at the time.

OMG...I thought I simply lost my mind. I thought it was due to an abusive husband but I had just met my 'twin' if you will and seriously, I imploded. It was scary. Later years I chalked it up to a dark night of the soul.

That was very interesting! About a couple of months ago i had a similar experience. At the time i had my headphones on and was listening to classical music when all of a sudden my consciousness split into two parts. I was still aware of being myself but at the same time i was aware of being part of something larger. This other aspect of me was very calm and peaceful! Just for a while it felt like their were two people residing in my body! Just for a moment i was convinced that i was a aspect of source! The me i identify with, couldn't accept this revelation and that's when the experience ended! Very strange!

There was a guy here on KZbin, has his own channel, who was going through this recently. He believed he was a twin flame and he was put in a mental hospital in Finland. He told them he saw angels and auras and they put him on drugs for schizoaffective and bipolar disorders. They kept him in the hospital for over a year and he got out and tried to get off the medication because he felt it was damaging him spiritually. The withdrawals were so bad he committed suicide just over a week ago. No one knows if he was really a twin flame or not. The person he thought was his twin was a internet personality and from what I have seen she didn't feel the connection. Was she unawakened or just not a twin? No one knows. Right before this he was working with someone who was an ayahuasca shaman. He was hoping ayahuasca might help him. He did it 10 times right before he passed away. I just bring this up because this is such a difficult thing to understand and it shows how serious this all can be. Everyone be safe!💙

@@wearethesamenergy He did this over the past few months. He was working with someone who was very experienced with it but it does seem excessive. I read that it's common for people who try to get off the medication he was on to be suicidal and to commit suicide. I think he was just desperate because he was so suicidal from withdrawals. He said he didn't have these issues before he went on the psychiatric medications.

@@teejay8258 Yes, less than 2 weeks ago I believe. The only way people would know this is to see the last post in his community section on his channel - Klaus Hakala. His mom talks about it in the comments section for his last post. I tried to be there for him with what he was going through but it seems like there was nothing anyone could do. I thought he should go back on his medication at least to stop the suicidal thoughts but he just couldn't go back to that. But the withdrawals from the medication might be so bad he wasn't in his right mind. It's so bizarre though because he was not that bad before he was put in the mental hospital. He had issues but they didn't seem that extreme.

@@MisterFuturtastic yes, that’s him! I watched a few of his videos (a couple of years ago), and caught one a few weeks ago, but he seemed a little off. I didn’t realise the backstory. So sad. This is when the whole twin flames thing gets very scary. Someone with a real mental illness might believe all kinds of things.

What do you think of my circumstance? : I'm going through only the last symptom you mentioned, Pointlessness of everything, but not the first four, But here's the thing that deserves consideration: Every egoic hell is now non-existent, there's not even any point of self-actualization because I'm already as whole as it is possibly possible and on top of that, grappling with how to conduct in the 3D world, because everything's so "Not real" as everything that was considered real was merely egoic and there's nothing in my life but absolute unity with the transcendent. And I don't even know exactly why I'm asking you this question, I REALLY GODDAMN DON'T. But elements of me are like: I know it doesn't matter and I also know that some elements of my psyche need certainty, etc but that's not who I am." This is my mentality of even writing is comment. (Realizing its pointlessness but also attending and engaging in 3D shits) Merely a disorder within eternal tranquility and solace. And another thing is that, I also don't actually know why is it exactly that I don't commit adultery, or murder someone, or do something socially unacceptable. I merely don't do them, certainly it's not fear, because I find it pointless anyway to have fear, or fear of death or any danger. But I merely don't. while knowing spectacularly inadequately why I don't do them. What should I do in this circumstance exactly, believe the 3D egoic constructs to be "Not real" and go there and commit adultery if I get an impulse as a means of expressing love or anything that is egoically hindered and that it doesn't matter. "Why should I actually be virtuous,?" that's the fundamental question, who knows what virtuousness may mean and the pointlessness of it all except for love and transcendence. And Is it a full ego degradation BTW? (anyway I'm in a separation with my twin (The long one, preceding the submission and the eternal union phase as the chaser though*)

Hi Alex, How long did your ego dissolution process take? I've been going through it for half a year now, and sometimes it feels endless. Then I read online about people who take 20 years to go through it, which seems unbearable to me! I watch your videos over and over, just to find some peace at times. My severe degradation took six months as well, and I fought it the entire time. The next two weeks of videos will be about Ego Degradation, so I hope it helps you in some way! You've got this, I know it's so hard. But the more you fight it and criticize yourself for what you're going through, the harder it is to get out of. Don't worry about how long it will take; it's different for each person

I agree, there is so much confusion leading you down many rabbit holes. The way i see it..... you will have romantic/ or other come into your life with lessons/or challenges to help you evolve, when you reach or become aligned you will bring in a sacred divine partner who is in alignment with you as you will have done all the necessary healing. YOU are your own twin flame you only bring in where you are in vibration. There is no need for labels. So many get stuck searching and searching for their twin flame for the one love. When you are LOVE.. You are energy and love is energy,..... just be.❤ Dont keep searching outside yourself..... its all inside. Shadow work, look at yourself (what you think of yourself). Core wounds. That person will represent those core wounds for you to see..... to heal. You are not what you are programmed to believe.. 🦋
