5 Gallon Pail Sifters: Helping with Mealworm Production

As some of you may (or may not!) know, we have our own mealworm farm on the homestead. This provides an extra source of food for all the birds and our bearded dragon Twitch!
I found a few videos online using these 5 gallon bucket sifting pans, so I thought I'd give em a shot!

😆😆😆 I just laughed way too hard when you pushed down in the middle of the sifter and a bunch flew up all over the place. That’s SO something I would do and then be making fun of myself for the rest of the day 😂

When it popped up saying "don't do this" I started laughing so hard. I didn't even need to see what happened. Because mine came in the mail today and I did the same thing on the kitchen table. lol oops.

What sizes are the pans?

If you have beetles in the containers. There could possibly be eggs and Baby Worms in that frass. You need to ut the grass in a container separate from the rest and wait a month or so. Or you might just be throwing away babies and eggs

how often should it be sifter? I just started and learning at the same time.
