I have always enjoyed playing Risk. I remember going to a rummage sale or Walmart about 25 yrs ago or so and stumbling upon Axis Allies. I was intimidated by it. I still have never played it. But last year during Covid I decided to make my own version of Risk. It's also a simpler version of Axis Allies combined. I made my own game board with some changes. Greenland is a continent unto itself. Added New Zealand to Australia. and we use $money$ to build factories, air force, navy, etc...and if you are on the brink of elimination, you can join forces with another player. Australia has two bordering territories just like south america and greenland. good video and list

Risk 2210 AD adds some cool stuff and is way better than normal Risk.

I want Legacy Risk as an ONLINE game. I hate that it destroys cards and adds stickers to the board which damages the board. Why don't they have that for online.

I think there is a version on steam, but you have to download tabletop simulator. Never tried it myself though.

I have played Risk. Also got Risk Halo. I'd rather play Trivial Pursuit-any version, Klingon Monopoly. Got Stratego too. All your other picks? Never played them. I got about 150 true wargames, and all are better than Risk. But it's all good. You play the games you like. I play the games I like. good video. 👍

I heard Risk Halo had some better mechanics. What are the top war games you would recommend for someone to advance past Risk?

@@coach_troy I would say start with a sol o player war game something like The Hunter's or Silent Victory from GMT (submarines). Night Fighter Ace from Compass or B-17 Queen of the Skies from Avalon Hill. B-17 long out of print, but it is the granddaddy of aircraft solo games. Picket Duty Legion Games(destroyers vs kamakazis). The Shores of Tripoli. Fort Circle games. 1 or 2 player. Castle Itter by DVG.
