possibly, but we can't know for sure until we can look at the game's code

Since it spawns at 0,0 , there are only really two ways that could happen. Either it's a fail-safe, or a default value for the next position of an object on a track, wich is meant to be overwritten by the actual value once the game knows where to put it.

I had this one glitch in multiplayer co-op (Super Mario World) There was this door one block in the air, and when someone picked me up I somehow opened the door. I don't even know how to recreate it but I guess all you have to do is look up once someone pick you up I guess.

first flitch is useful if for a troll level, if you find a better setup that causes them to panic up on a door at the same time they get a powerup, then have them stuck on the goal forcing them to either wait out clock or reset to start.
