I want to be a video promoter that is extremely focused on Relationships Marketing, opposed to what I call "Bot Marketing" relying on technology alone. Technology is a fantastic tool, and yet that is ALL it is! Building trust with your clients is much more important than using the latest chat bot, for example. I am about creating customized Promotions Videos, instead of the "one size fits all" mentality that so many advertisers and promotion video creators do. One thing I would like to comment about, as far as choosing the right Social Media platform, is that I strongly believe in having three: and I see these platforms as "Growth Engines". My three are KZbin, LinkedIn and Facebook. I plan to have a channel on all three platforms. I also will create a community that base will be a Facebook group, that I will be feed by several other platforms.

How do you take something you are doing to help others and make life better, but possibly leverage it into income (so you can do more of it!) without coming across as insincere? For the last few months I've been interviewing Marines and Sailors from the "Forgotten Battalion" -- those that deployed in 2008 to Afghanistan with 2/7. Veterans from 2/7 developed the highest suicide rate in the Marine Corps. This became a very recent podcast, "Warriors Roundtable", with hopes of reconnecting combat veterans and providing hope through sharing stories of overcoming adversity and transforming trauma. Currently, this provides me no source of income; I'm just doing what I can to make things better for guys I know and love. While it would be great to put more time into this when I leave the military next year, I don't really know if I could leverage this particular outreach into a primary income source.

I'm no expert, but the answer to this would be "Patience". Keep that grind, keep going with it. Don't expect anything good for 3-4 years. Patience is key to making something you love thrive.

Interesting topic. Because Social Media is a struggle for me in this sense: I'm a "less is more" guy where I don't personally want to have to keep up on multiple social media accounts. However that realization tells me that's likely true for some of my fans, so I better have all of the platforms to make sure I'm reaching the same type of "less is more" people out there that might only have/prefer IG or only have Twitter or Facebook. So I've forced myself to have more accounts than what I want to reach my fans outside of YT. However after doing so I realize in my niche one is more valuable than another and would rather dump time into the IG platform to help support my YT, but I know I can't neglect the Twitter or Facebook side. However I feel like the return on investment that I spend on the Twitter and Facebook platforms isn't as good as IG. So how do I balance the effort? I can't quite figure out if it's more appropriate to treat all three the same, or intentionally treat IG like it's the #1 and do less on facebook and twitter?

Actually, Mr. Voog is incorrect. Apple is going down the toilet and Microsoft is making a comeback. Apple is too expensive, their systems are closed (as in if you have a hard drive crash, good luck replacing it without using a hammer). If anyone can afford to, I would recommend buying Microsoft stock
