So many waterfalls! I definitely don't associate Ontario with waterfalls, shows what I know! Thank you so much for sharing, I really like Tew Falls, but they are all so beautiful. It's good to know that you need to reserve to visit some of these.

More than 100 waterfalls in Hamilton? Whoa! That's awesome. The cascade of Webster Falls looks beautiful. Indeed very beautiful, but yeah as you say, it doesn't look heavy. Little Davis is just awesome. My kinda place where you could go right under/above the falls. Having the entire place for yourself without other tourists is a very big plus point.

I love the first and last waterfalls despite the water flow being less in those the canyons are beautiful! Shame the car park was full at Smokey Hollow Waterfall, we are finding everything so busy being back in our own country now too🙄

I just LOVE a good waterfall. The noise, the water spray and the pool at the bottom. I can stare at the falling water for ages. I used to live in Hamilton- but in New Zealand. Countries with this type of landscapes have such diversity in nature. My place of residence now, the Netherlands is flat as pancake, well almost, till you get further south. No waterfalls to brag about unfortunately. Loved this interlude. Thanks for the great footage. 💖 🇳🇿 🙋 🇳🇱

Wow, that is a lot of waterfalls. Didn't know that Ontario has a lot of waterfalls. We were so focused on the city and "touristy spots" when we were in Ontario. I think we just stayed in Toronto the whole time. Makes me want to go back and visit all of this. Thanks for all the recommendations. Beautiful choice.

I went to Albany falls in 2018...was able to walk right up to it then...we went looking for waterfalls but found most the access blocked off even then before pandemic...u can't get that close to most of them..

Wow! Albion Fall is incredible! People trying to head close to it should be fearless, as the water stream seems enormously strong! I also like to google for places, sometimes it's possible to find some really beautiful hidden bits ☺️
@c.schuurman20922 жыл бұрын
You are right about safety concern. The reason why visitors are not supposed to climb down to the bottom of Albion Falls any more, as The Average Tourist mentioned, is because people have had to be rescued, and a couple people have actually died.
@AdventuresOfATravelingDon3 жыл бұрын
I love waterfalls. Marking Hamilton on my map after this. From what I saw I'd appreciate the Little Davis Falls personally. Seems more intimate and I like surrounding area.
@TheAverageTourist3 жыл бұрын
The downtown area wasn't the nicest (I'll definitely admit that) but the waterfalls were incredible.
@Svenywhere2 жыл бұрын
Pfff 100 waterfalls in the area. There are exactly 0 in my area. Even though the cascade isn't that full for the Webster falls but indeed still looks lovely. Albion Falls looks brilliant. Why is Tew falls your favourite? A bit annoying that you need to reserve for a nature place and also only have limited time for your visit.
@saffronblaze77633 жыл бұрын
Most of the falls need a good flow to capture their grandeur and beauty. I am close enough to plan a trip on short notice after a day or two of rain with sunshine in the forecast. Also, this whole part of the Niagara escarpment is far more beautiful in the Autumn (typically early October for peak colours in the leaves) ... better yet, no crowds on weekdays that time of the year.
@TheAverageTourist3 жыл бұрын
Oh that's really good to know about the autumn season there. You're lucky to live close by!

Hey, I'm just a student and don't have a car. So, is there any public transport in Hamilton that can help me get close to the falls?
@TheAverageTourist Жыл бұрын
I'm not familiar with the transit system specifically, but they do have buses that you could take and just plan the route as close to the falls you want to visit. You can uber to the further ones.

Albion falls has had to put up fences because people refuse to follow rules, they need that photo and end up falling. They end up needing an expensive rope rescue, putting the first responders lives at risk, the entire thing could have been avoided. Police are stationed there now because adults can’t listen. I say adults because it’s generally adults bringing their families, hopping the fences with their children, why?? I know you think these things are beautiful but Hamilton and it’s waterfalls do not need any more exposure, like none. Exposure = dense people quite frankly, not to mention it closes an entire street down. That’s all, thank you.
@joewebster99322 жыл бұрын
Haha tews falls is free. Just walk
@Kelly-jn4cp3 жыл бұрын
If you visit the Waterdown falls please don't park on the side of the road. It's illegal and so dangerous. I live near by and have seen so many accidents as a result of dumb, selfish drivers. It's at the bottom of a steep hill and a very sharp corner that is blind in both directions. Plan to visit this one in the non peak times. Your visit will definitely be ruined if you end up hurt or in an accident.
@TheAverageTourist3 жыл бұрын
Yes it was nuts the day we visited and there were numerous officers waiting to ticket cars and telling people to keep moving when they would stop at the side of the road 🤦♀️
