#2 stuffed it, going for an overtrick (SKQ dbleton) and ended up -1 sigh. . #3 unblocked SK at trick 1, and then with sub-optimal defence managed 2H+2. Got it back :) . #4 After running the Smolen gauntlet to get to 3NT, why didn’t you just bid 4H (maybe it meant something else?) . #5 I am with kartalallen on this one (and probs the rest of the world), saying pd - you left me in 3N with a 6-6 hand!? . The Robots here were quite frankly an embarrassment. I also opened B1 3rd hand 1S and partners 1NT with a minimum not fitting hand after a double is quite frankly suicidal. The robots let the expert make 4H and mine took me off immediately! B5 is a marginal hand to try for slam with too much in spades, so I bid 3NT. My robot P passed this. Honestly that bid would never have even occurred to me with that hand. Absolutely ridiculous. After the mandatory 4C bid I easily find 6D😡

@kartalallen So where would you allocate the blame (percentage wise) for the terrible score on #1 - the shaded 1NT or the ultra-light opener?

The robots abysmal 1NT. And decent player or robot for that matter should be conscious that a 3rd in hand opener can be very light. So 1NT with a non fitting minimum is a very poor bid indeed

@@Kartalallen I would agree with you playing F2F with a partner where you can agree that 3rd favourable can be ultra-light. However, playing with a bot, surely you have agreed to play the Bot’s card? In this case, 1S by agreement showed 11-23, so maybe 2S ( 3-10 ) would have been a better choice? I know they are working hard on Lia, so maybe drop in a bug report suggesting that the lower point range for 3rd favourable be reduced.

@@grahamlucy6627 Hmmm I have to say I didnt even check what the range of 1S in 3rd was because I know they also play Drury for exactly this kind of 3rd in hand weak major opener.......so I naturally assumed
