In my early 70’s now. Been lifting since late teens. Some years more intense then others. Learning my body, I realized I couldn’t maintain the workouts and intensity of youth. A few years ago, I started a ‘100 pushups a day’ challenge. It was the leanest physique I ever had. Not an original idea here, though the points made about tecnique are valid and important. Ages and stages my friends. Just keep moving and don’t allow age to cancel your goals!

I did long distance cycling because I loved it. For me it was endurance, not speed and that cost me. I developed an arrhythmia which crushed me, my goal was to ride cross country & now that was gone. I began doing what I could of your w/o until I got my pacemaker, now I am rebuilding my muscles, strength and of course my endurance. It no more than 2 weeks to notice the improvement. You are a great instructor. I am extremely grateful for Strength Side. God bless you, & your brother.

Don’t be allergic to weights either. I’ve been doing the split squat lunge thing with 15kg plate and just realised I can pistol squat all of a sudden

working so hard towards that pistol. You make that transition from the shrimp to pistol so smooth. makes it look easy.

for even harder reverse nordic curls try touching the ground lightly with your back. Pause for a sec and go back up.
