Hey Vicky! What is your opinion on hair relaxers and the claims that they cause cancer? Personally I prefer my hair relaxed because it's easier to maintain and I gave more creative freedom with hair styles, hence I've learnt so much from your content. However, I won't lie that I sometimes feel conflicted when I read about the cancer claims.

Hey Tebogo. This is one of the things that I’ve also been looking into. I’m actually working on a video that will look into this in detail. The one main point that I saw with regards to the research was that it was done on women who relaxed their hair frequently and also already were at the risk of getting cancer. So like certain foods and ingredients, it’s link to cancer might not necessarily be a cause and effect relationship. I’m gonna try and get that video out soon and hopefully also share an informative view on it. I really appreciate you taking your time to ask this question.
