Same. I rarely use Google these days. I use Perplexity, ChatGPT Search, and Grok, and have Perplexity set as my default search engine

Great video! My only complaint is that you say you'll show how to build an API connection, then you just show building a Make connection and hide the rest from everyone but your paid subscribers. It's fine to get paid for the good stuff, but just don't make us think we'll get something we don't. 😉

Thanks for the video. Perplexity is awesome, probably the best for searching and organizing info, but it really drops the ball on follow-up questions.

Gemini 2.0 just released last week and it has the ability to search the internet as well, but it's shockingly bad at it. I've been testing it all week and it absolutely cannot be relied upon to the point that it's pretty much useless to me. Perplexity has always been better, but I'm looking forward to seeing what this new model can do.

I don't see the Focus on option in Spaces - is that a limitation? I see it on the main pager though. Am on the free account

There's no focus option like the one on the main page. You could only use (as for today) space files, web only and now it supports links.

Another great one, thank you. Grok is now free, can you play around with Grok please, how would you use Grok? Is there a way to make short animated videos as summaries from long KZbin videos, for example: taking the history from the Syrian war and creating a short animated timeline.

Excellent educational video. When I share a link to a page I've created it automatically provides the same Perplexity thumbnail. Is there a work around this so I can choose the thumbnail for say a share on social media?

Your beef with AI summaries comes down to a skill issue. You can focus your summary prompts on specific topics/angles and it will give you more if what you're looking for

@BlazingZebra oh, yeah, I only use that button as a first pass to just get the juices flowing. Once I have questions from that read through, I'll go back and ask it for more focused responses
