Lol knowing english and spanish makes the pronunciation of his name sounds like a pun. Purson sounds like person obviously. But Soi sounds like soy which is spanish for the word "am". His name sounds like a confirmation of " yeah I am a person(demon) that exists." I know its just a coincidence and not too interesting but i found it kinda funny.

Haha well might as well be a play on words! Even the series' name is a pun since まいりました！入間くん would translate to "Iruma-kun is here!" but since the ま (ma) is replaced by kanji for devil 魔 (ma) the original title actually translates to "Iruma-kun has entered the demon (world)!". The official english title is good though, because it conveys the same idea but more straightforward :)

Also Iruma's name is funny if you think about it. Phonetically, いる魔 (iru ma) would mean "demon that exists" and the kanji for his name 入間 (Iruma) looks close enough to kanji for "human" 人間 (ningen) that somebody with bad eyesight might accidentally read his name as "Human" 😅

When he fell from Heaven, he assumed the form of a lion headed man to mock the symbol of God. He was a close aid to Lucifer during the war between heaven and Hell. And his special ability is to reveal hidden treasures to the people. Which BTW is a complimentary ability to Valac who brings people treasures. And in the anime and manga, Purson Soi has the ability to vanish from everyone's perception.

Oh its not really a big thing, but basically because Purson never had a goal to rank up, since his family doesnt need to rank up, I think that his task during the harvest festival was to survive without being noticed at all. Just like how his father put him in abnormal class as a challenge to stay hidden even in the most popular/attention grabbing group 😅
