5 horses plays 4 songs in paris (smallsongs)

late january 2025 i had the opportunity to meet up with 5 horses and olivier legall in and around parc des buttes-chaumont. we recorded "if i were you" at a parisian café called sunny. i tried something new by recording 2 takes on this one. 1 filmed up close and 1 filmed from the across the street to also capture the humans and dogs and cars passing by. we then walked in to the park for an acoustic version "the long shot." marc of 5 horses got us permission to film at a flower shop called fioretti paris. they took a seat surrounded by the flowers and played "give me wings." we then moved upstairs to marc's studio recording space. marc & olivier sat at the window and closed out the session with "where do we go?" i stepped outside in to the courtyard to capture them from a distance. we also had lots of coffee & good talks ! thank you so much for your time and your spontaneity marc + olivier !!
