This is the first Pokemon music compilation I've seen that includes music from the Game Boy games! Most compilations on KZbin skip RGBY, GSC, and RSE entirely, just putting music from the remakes instead. But there's so much magic in the chiptune soundtracks. Thank you so much for including them.

Right?? I was using this video yesterday to help me relax and sleep using my small speaker, but the second I heard the original New Bark Town theme, I was very surprised and smiled so much. When I was small, I used to try to be sneaky staying up late to play Pokemon Gold and Crystal hearing the theme quietly while I would keep going back to New Bark Town to heal, check on Professor or say hi to my mom. Then Eterna Forest theme playing after taking me back to teen days I was sad and would just play the game in that forest area just to listen to the song to cheer me up. Those memories hit me like a rock and definitely calmed me down to sleep. 😂

thank you for this playlist.. at the moment, I'm going through an extremely hard time, anxiety making me physically ill and having horrible stomach aches. when I got my phone, the first thing I did was look for this playlist. I always put it on when I get in the shower. thank you for putting together this great playlist, and for picking that specific slowpoke image. it looks so relaxing, I might put it as my wallpaper... anyhow, I'll be venting below I guess I'm just too direct with things, it might make people think I'm weird or emotionless for addressing things so directly. even tho, as you saw above, I'm absolutely devastated. best friend started distancing himself and it ended up in a mess, now we're not friends anymore, I think. it's so confusing! I just wanted to fix things and move on, but I guess people need time, which I did give him.. I don't really understand. I never think about myself, no matter how much I tell myself I should take a break. I can't seem to stop worrying. everyone in my life is connected to each other in some way, it feels imprisoning. honestly, I'm having very bad diarrhea right now because of all the anxiety I've been having lately.. he's not the only one that I've had this issue with, I try addressing issues to others when they are present and it seems to intimidate them.. I guess I shouldn't be so direct about it? but I've never seen myself as a logical person, I've always been more heartfelt, so I don't think I am glossing over their emotions.. but I might be. I mean, no one really gives me a direct answer. people are so complicated! is it just people my age (I'm a teenager, so 13-18)? can somebody relate to this overall tho..? I feel really alone on this. I've always felt different, people tell me I'm very mature for my age, but is that a good thing? I wanna make normal teenager mistakes, so that when I reach adulthood, I still have my good friends, but I seem to be losing everyone, even myself I'm gonna shower now tho, I hope to feel at least a bit relaxed afterwards. I've always felt too much, an overwhelming amount of everything. I guess that what makes me a sensitive person, and it makes me kind, too. but I'm also very lazy. after today, I'm gonna try to take a walk everyday. with my doggo! it's a win win. I get some fresh air and ma doggo gets some fresh air too lol well, thanks for reading all that, if you did, I feel desperate right now

I read all this and you are not alone! I have a nephew who is your age and in a very similar position. Like him, you seem smarter than you realize with more potential than you know. Taking a daily walk, especially with your doggie, is a great idea! Continue to take those small steps toward your mental health. Nothing is too small to make a difference in how you feel, and in turn, how you make others feel. I've found that small steps combined with taking a long term view of what really matters and what doesn't can go a long way toward making life easier to bear. Best of luck to you, young one. :)

Aww I'm so sorry you are going through all of this. :( I understand the pain of losing a best friend, if that is the case anyway. I also have dealt with debilitating anxiety. Probably different than what you are going through, but I promise you it does get better with consistent and healthy coping mechanisms. But again, everyone is different, so I do not know what is best for you. Only you do! Anyway, I understand and you aren't alone. I'm 19, and I lost my best friend this year. It still hurts after 5 months, but I am learning to grieve. I too am a very sensitive and emotional person and people have also told me that I am mature for my age. I understand your point about being direct. Being direct is a good thing in my opinion! However, I am sure it depends on how you say things too. I know it seems hard now, but as someone who went through debilitating anxiety (specifically OCD and anxiety related to college stress), lost her best friend, and felt lost a few months back, I can tell you things do get better. :) I hope this could help you at least a tiny bit! :) You are loved, and hard times happen, but I am cheering you on through this hard time. You can do it!
