That fake pic of the Massey Ferguson tractor is largely based on the Case/IH Quadtrac, but cleverly overlaid with the cab and bonnet styling of the current MF 8S & 9S tractor ranges. Would be so stoked to see MF produce this machine (10S ?), in real life - fantastic piece of styling.

Not to bust any bubbles but, the standing position for AGCO high horsepower is that AGCO's articulated large tractor is basically dead forever, the MT900s were the last 4wd articulated tractor series they'd ever do. If they ever changed their minds, it will be a Fendt and not a Massey, given AGCO is pushing Fendt hard, wouldn't surprise if AGCO ceased to exist and it just be Fendt only.

The way Agco operate they will stuff up the Fendt brand totally. From hero to zero with Agco

@@brenttonks4249And we all know the awful trade in value of Fendt tractors and combines! If AGCO went Fendt only it would be a step in the wrong direction! IMO.

why not install engine that has proven itself to some tractors. Scania v8, which has 760hp and can be made 1000hp+. massive torque compared to inline engines

Only prob with all these wannabe big bud 747s they'll never be because they are not heavy enough to put the power properly to the ground you need weight bo pull weight .

..except for the 83,000lb john deere with 915hp? At least check your facts before posting....

Case has always been good at being heavy enough to put the hp to the ground. I don't think any of these brands want to be a big bud, they're striving to be better and minus hp, they already are. The 747 was an astonishment back in the day, but it's the 2020's. New beasts are being born
@jkutnink874 ай бұрын
@@user-vj5op2sk7j the 830 is rated at 830 hp but can at times increase its power by 10% for short amount of time due to extreme environments such as a ditch etc. It is not meant to be at 915 hp the entire time. The 830 weighing 83,000 lbs is not its base weight and requires the farmer to install those weights across the whole tractor. Going max the Deere out plays everyone here, including having no DEF, but its cost is substantial. I like the changes they have made.

715 has updated drives ,, heavier. 715 is the bottom range of this series. Lots of 620 around my area, but haven’t heard of any failures. Several using direct mount scrapers. Tough on tracks, but that goes with the territory.

Neither can jd-engines. They should outsource their big engines to some reliable manufacturer. Seen many videos where big r-series have massive engine failures and high maintenence needs.
@froggienm714 ай бұрын
@jaripukki267 John Deere already tried that with Cummins which was a colossal failure. John Deere has outsourced to Isuzu for big engines in forage harvesters and that didn't work..... according to John Deere, this new engine has established itself in the newer forage harvesters as a very reliable engine. Do I think John Deere can get back to the prowess they had in the 60s and 70s? No chance. But this new tractor is a step in the right direction
