Several years ago I heard or read somewhere that when there was true love invested, on average, it usually takes about 6 months for every year we spent in a karmic relationship to fully recover & heal from such heartbreak. When I heard this it sounded absurd to me. After going through such a traumatic 10 year relationship myself, I completely understand & totally agree with that advice. That relationship ended at the end of 2020, & here I am beginning of 2025, much more healed, yet not quite ready to begin something new. I've allowed myself time, space & self love to do it's job. When I'm ready, I'll know, I'll recognize the signs & be reacquainted with the feelings that come so natural to me. In the meantime, I continue to heal & reflect.❤️🙏😊

Yes, it's largely considered half the time one understood they were in love. I would take the word "karmic" out of it because the relationship may not have ever been fully developed or defined. It's any person who understood they were in love so it may have been a relationship, situationship, unrequited, and so on. If you or they mourned the love you felt then it was real to at least one person, otherwise you would have nothing to grieve. Grief is what makes it real, not the title of the relationship. Roughly at the half-way point (everyone is different) we can begin to understand our out of love feelings which is a good thing. Hate is not the result but finding peace in letting go. It says we've changed. It says there is an exit and our lives can proceed forward without guilt or feeling the need to stay on that particular highway anymore.

Oh, Christina, thank you for that specific Aries reading. Friendship isn't a diminishment or a dismissal of the connection. It's what's possible unless the other person carries out the break from a dead commitment and subsequent fresh start that shows up in readings where I feel like I'm cross-watching (even if it's not deliberately). Leo Sun / Scorpio Moon here. The Scorpio reading resonates. I would like to have a conversation with someone from my past, and I know it won't be pleasant. I would actually be ok with the friends label, but the part about rejecting certain labels going forward is still accurate for us in principle. Fear kept her from establishing a real 3D friendship with me in the past. I think some of those fears arise from the fact that she felt feelings beyond friendship for me that she didn't want to face (that's my perception, anyway). So she avoided even friendship.
