Price of Confession being cancelled made me so sad :(. Had been following this for a few months, then it got cancelled. Two of my favorite actresses & the director of my favorite kdrama (plus my favorite genre AND an interesting plot) It could have been one of my favorites :/.

Which makes me think a woman being love interest of another woman might have something to do with it? This is based on fact that I have not seen any _mainstream_ kdrama that has gay theme, let alone between main leads. But on the other hand i have been watching kdrama only for four years so they might be out there. The one recent drama which _acknowledges_ gay relationship is "wedding impossible". But it's just acknowledgement not part of main story by any means.

Fun fact - School 2020 actually has happened, altough it's name was School 2021 and Yohan played main role! I suggest to watch it because main cast is really amazing.

As far as I know School 2020 just got delayed not cancelled to properly produce it and looking for new female lead for the drama which then become School 2021. And because Jo Yihyun took the lead, it came out way better than expected. At least for me.

A piece of your mind is still one of my fav Kdramas and really goes to show how trashy people's taste are. The atmosphere in that drama is unmatched, the cast was superb and the writing was master level. My only complaint about is that the leads took too long to get together, which is only a problem because of the reduced episodes.

i just started watching a piece of your mind and was so looking forward cause its exactly the kinda of drama i like and then seeing this made a bit iffy about it but people in the comments seem to have still like it so i will continue the main character's actions are already weird for me since the 1st episode but i look past it because every korean drama ive watched so far has had problematic actions from the mains leads, specially the men, so im surprised koreans were bothered by it, i usually ignore and kinda change it in my mind so i can keep watching since i like kdramas way of telling stories

if he had been stuck w memories of his 1st love for like 1-2 eps its fine,. but it dragged out so much to so many eps that I also end up being fed up w it. there are dramas with 'slow pacing' but the only one that I enjoyed was "pretty noona who buys me food/something in the rain". piece of your mind, one spring night and when the weather is fine is all too slow for my liking.

When a k-drama is going to be released with an artist who has been successful in other projects and does not have the audience rating that was expected, it is not the artist, it is the story (sometimes the sequence is distorted, such is the case from The Light in Your Eyes, I didn't like it, I think it was the script) it is slow and causes it to not captivate the audience's attention. Without offending those who make the series.

To understand why Joseon Exorcist was cancelled, you need to look at how China behaves towards Korea. As someone from a country that has experienced cultural oppression from another country, I understand Koreans who don't want to see Chinese food (the Chinese have claimed that kimchi is a Chinese dish, which is also a form of imperialism. And don't tell me that food and cinema are outside of politics. In some cases this may be true, but very rarely). I rather blame the film crew for stupidly ignoring these facts. and I'm so sad that we won't see this masterpiece, the trailers were promising.

Despite the feeling that sometimes Kdramas are out there just to make money, or profit the advertisers, we can atleast consider that Kdrama industry is also concerned with producing quality work, and also avoid negative vibes like controversies, unprofessionalism, saving not just one's own but others' reputation. They just decided these cancellations considering the long-term effects on all those concerned including us viewers.
