Yeah, that was hysterical! I have been watching Broughy for 10 years, and the content from RBS and friends is such a breath of fresh air. Perhaps Broughy should have someone to talk with on some streams.

have been waiting for you guys to do this long race format with gfred for gosh darn ever! love it. now im imagining a 5 lap lapfred but its a scramble. there would be cars all over the map.

That CocoaWitch takeout at 56:10 from the NPC truck using your car as a projectile, first time I've seen something like that! Instead of a Newton's Cradle a Newton's car crash!

It's so interesting how these endurance races can affect your concentration and make you miss your turn, leading to rolling and spinning your car, leading to being overtaken, leading to the death at the island. Very, very entertaining race overall❤ If there's anything to put my finger on, it would be how you're communicating with the others AND the viewer. I would prefer if you chose one of them, preferably the viewer. But it's not a big problem anyway.

Will you guys do a 5 lapfred but random? or just a lapfred, doesn't have to be 5 laps.

I understand running to the highway at the start of a gfred lap but when you have just passed the checkpoint at the finish island and then make it onto the beach, can you not use one of the bikes to get up to Great Ocean Highway instead of running then? Is the rules on a lapfred that you have to run back to Great Ocean Highway as well?

Yes you always have to run to the highway before getting a car

Why did you not do the derfg Hail Mary? I would assume it’s quicker than swimming no? Is that what dc was talking about in the last lap?

There is no reason to do the derfG hail mary when you don't need to get the Lighthouse checkpoint - it's faster to just jump straight to the finish island and swim over (if you do it properly, which I had trouble with in this race 😂)

That's a reasonable point actually, I'll need to test it. The issue is you need to keep height and basically make a 180 turn at the Gfred start island, swoop to hit the checkpoint and then parachute to the lighthouse. Might be possible but not sure if anybody has attempted it before

@@yveslauwereyns6677 They actually discuss this during the race: this kind of line is possible, and Dobis does some experimentation, but there's no established line that does this for a lapfred.

I'll admit that I watched this in instalments. 30 mins here, 20 mins there... Was not expecting Gfred the major motion picture, TBH. Need to work on your backing sound track...
