he needed a score 10x higher, to get there by cashing in planet cards for hand levels would take way more than he had. I'm probably pretty far off but my rough estimate is about 300 planet cards for a 10x higher score in that round due to how plasma deck works

Remember that the difference between e19 and e21 is adding two 0s onto the end. It's the difference between 10 000 000 000 000 000 000 and 1 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 To get 10x off of planet scaling (100 mult to 1000 mult), he would have needed 250-300 PlanX as the other commenter stated. It's insane how fast these numbers grow.

Besides the achievement to get 100 million in a single hand ans to get to ante 12 for another one, there is no need for such highscores. This was for a competition to see who can get the highest score within an hour, so it was just that - a hunt for the highscore on this particular seed.

you know this is exactly what happened on my current best high score run, got a trib at ante 4 and perkeo on ante 8 and my highscore was e57, somehow even after i skipped every double tag and voucher tag i didnt get observatory, had 200+ eris ready too, it hurts when the run really couldve take off far, i am convinced i couldve easily reached naneinf if i just got observatory, since there was 18/19 antes worth of eris copying with 2 blueprint 2 brainstorm, sometimes the game just feel like bullshit i tell you

No, you just watched it in practice. They all had a blind seed and had an hour to run it at the same time. This has been the case in things like Minecraft speed running tournaments too. I don't know why it sounds so insane when you just watched it work lol.

#1 it was for charity #2 all the participants use the same seed so rng is irrelevant, it's just who plays the best and if you can't tell from chats awful advice and back seating it does make a difference
