I have to say you have a beautiful screen presence: glowing smile, eyes, and just overall exhuberance... well done!

Great info, Cat! I love the last tip too. Another way to quickly invite someone to the Zoom call is to click the little caret ^ next to "Participants" and select "Invite." It's a short process where Zoom will invite someone via email or via your contacts. All the meeting information is automatically sent to them. Very handy during a meeting! Thanks again!

Whoa! Mind blown re: Access Meeting Details Quickly in Zoom Meeting tip! I would have done it via the invite icon but this is even better! 🤯

Great video! I notice you don't have 'original sound' on....You may want to look into that. Also, ALT-C (on Windows) copies the meeting ID.

I really like the tactic of sharing just a window. I prefer the following technique: 1. Set up PowerPoint to show in a window (Set up Show | Show type | Browsed by an individual) 2. Start the slide show, and if you have a second monitor, chuck the show over to it. 3. Instruct Zoom to share just that window. I prefer this because a) you are not just sharing a region but an actual window, so nothing can obscure the window; and b) you are not just showing the slides in Edit mode, but in Show mode, which means all of your animations and transitions will be shown to your audience.

Rick, I use Keynote and so don't know the nuances of PPT. How do you see a small version of your slides on your main monitor so you aren't frequently looking at the second monitor? In Keynote, it is super easy, but I can't figure out how to do that for my clients who use PPT.
@RickAltman Жыл бұрын
@@RebeccaLMorgan, From the Slide Show ribbon, open the Set Up Show dialog. From there change the Show Type from its default of "Presented by a speaker (full screen)" to "Browsed by an indivual (window)."

@@RickAltman Thanks for your response! I'm afraid I didn't word my question correctly. I see your solution allows the presenter to make the active slide smaller so they can also see the gallery, which is great. I was hoping one could also see the upcoming slides. In Keynote, we get a pop-out window of the current and next slide, as well as the slide navigator on the side with all of the slides one can scroll through. I love this as I can 1) see a window with the current slide I can make smaller or larger, 2) in the pop-out I can see the next slide as well as easily scroll through the whole deck if I want to skip around, and 3) see the gallery, which I can make larger or smaller. I can't figure out how to see all these things at once in PPT. It seems the presenter can only view 2 of the 3 at a time. I'd love to advise my clients on how to do this if it is possible in PPT. Some have switched to Keynote (if they're on Mac) just for the capabilities I've outlined above.
