Sometimes, in the dry seasons when prey is scarce, a lioness will never let her cubs eat first, even if there would be nothing left over after she eats. If she does not feed herself, she certainly cannot protect her cubs or continue to hunt for them. There are certain forms of selfishness that are necessary.

Super helpful video, Dia! Totally reminded of a quote from a movie: “A man’s got to know his limitations.” Thanks for reminding us of a timeless message and bringing it in such a relevant way for today. Bonus points if anyone knows the movie quote 😂.

Thanks, Dia, it's like a breath of fresh air listening to you and I love your lightness and openness in dealing with these issues which the seriousness can keep us stuck and blocked from healing. I really relate to your experiences and challenges, and relating them to nature. I feel we are very similar being sensitive water signs but also wanting to have the power of love and respect for ourselves instead of always trying to please and gain it from the false reality of approval of others. I need to start watching some sad movies to help have a good cry also :( I'm really excited to be a part of your community as it's great to have the support and inspiration from others as I'm really ready to take the steps towards being the best version of myself. PS I also find it hard to do the breathing work and pilates is so exhausting. I've just got back into early morning walking and jogging, (forward and backward) and core strengthening exercises and movements which help breath naturally :) I might be inspired to find some dance class one day as also think you would be great at this to find the style that suits us. Have you done much dance? oxx

Yes, I love dancing and also, I’ll be trying climbing for the first time today, wish me luck! 😄

@@DiaJin Yes good luck, climbing is a great full-body work out but I found it so hard to get over your fear, challenges you in every way with the height and difficulty especially on rocks I would love to hear how you went. 😄

I prefer real life experience than books. Reading books makes you isolated. Intellectualizing things. Although it makes for interest chats etc.
@DiaJin6 ай бұрын
Agreed. Any input helps us cognitively become aware and going out to live is the embodiment process. 😜

What's wrong with learning from someone else's experience their whole life story researches theories are just in a single book so what's wrong with that
