A few years ago a bush or something got on fire outside the castle and they evacuated the castle and surrounding area. A fire truck and 2 ambulances drove down Main Street to handle the situation but cast members extinguished the fire before they got to the castle. I imagine that was the genesis of that rumor.

Good satire, you can tell that it's a joke, but the source of this rumour is called Mousetrap, and they simply make up stories with no humorous element, and then people mistake it for fact and share on social.

My favorite rumor about Disney is that there is a giant clear dome over Disney that protects it from bad weather/that the crew members can use to control the weather over the parks. Lol

But let's be clear, there are almost zero mosquitos. They have a VERY good mosquito prevention programme. For all the nights I just spent meandering around Port Orleans Riverside, basting in the muggy, hot air, I have never had a single mosquito bite.

I have been going to Disney World almost yearly since 1997 and I have never been bit my a mosquito. Of course, I can't take the heat in the Summer (or the Spring or the Fall, either) so I only go in December or January. Maybe that's why.

That's correct. December is about the driest time in South and Central Florida, so very few mosquitos at that time. Come out in Summer and you'll need to pack the repellant.

I live in SC and a mosquito magnet spray or not. We stayed in those parks in the rain and shine dawn to midnight and never got one mosquito bite. Disney has something more than a mosquito spray it has to be some powerful stuff❤❤❤
