I’m a life path 5 and this is SO accurate. Before I was evolved, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I felt so lost because no basic career sounded appealing to me, but I thought that’s what I had to do. So I almost did the exact opposite of my life path, went to college for a year, and chose Business as my major because I had no clue what to do, and just accepted that I was going to settle in life. Until I started spiritually awakening and developing myself and started realizing there was never anything wrong with me. I realized that the reason why I didn’t know what I wanted was because deep down my heart and soul desired a life of freedom and adventure, and none of those basic career paths gave me that. My soul was yearning for more, but I didn’t see it at the time. I just thought I was lost in life. Now that I’m aware of who I am and my purpose, I have a huge vision for my life and won’t settle for anything less. I’m SO glad to be a life path 5. I’m a freedom seeker!!!

I am a 5 and it feels like it's full of contradictions. I never know when I am going too far in one direction or in the opposite end of the spectrum. When I express complete freedom it becomes dispersive and wasteful. When I express my discipline it complete boxes me in and represses me. It is a no win situation. Frustration, frustration!!!

Hey, I hear you! Here's my tip: First remember that you're going to experience the whole spectrum between freedom and discipline all throughout your life. Everyone does. Only for you it's highlighted. Secondly, remember that freedom is not the same as free falling. And structure is not the same as restriction. True Freedom includes structure. True Structure includes freedom. The reason for this is because Freedom can not feel free if there's no direction, no foundation to walk upon, no guiding sources offering feedback about you, your path and your choices along the way. Structure is not structure either if all it does is hamper progress, evolution and variety. If it does that, it's stricture. Structure builds upon everything that variety, evolution and progress bring to you and CREATES something out of that. Whether that be a family, a career, a relationship, a social situation, a project, an impulse etc. Structure requires change, and Freedom requires reflection. When we see it like that, they exist like partners.

I'm a Capricorn, EnTp #5. This matched me very well. Crazy how much I hate being oppressed but I need self discipline to get to my goals. I have a weird ability to be hyper focused and become the captain, leader or boss for anything I strive to achieve. But once on that mountain, I don't care to stay there.. I see the other mountain tops from atop of mine, then I climb down and try to climb a different one. That's how I visualize it. To others it may appear as ungrateful.. But to me, I get bored, and want to take on a new challenge. Addiction is real. Excess and indulgence mixed in with self centered was too real to hear. 🐯

I am number 5. I love freedom and I'm also an ADHD person 😅 I built my own home cinema, I bought drum set, I bought luxury shoes, bags and now I'm into cigars obsession. I like to change hobbies, always busy in my head yet accomplished nothing 😁😅 Making lots of new friends everyday that I can sit and have coffee with and chat for hours. I found this totally resonate with me. I have the tendency to shrink from the adventure and new things, but when I let myself dive deeper and let loose, I feel totally free and independent and powerful to do what I want to do. And when I lean on my dependent side, I’m surely that needy and clingy girlfriend 🙄 Self-control and discipline is the key to truly freedom, and now I’m on the right path to gain my true freedom as a human being, as a number 5 🤗

This sure explains my addiction to self-control and self-discipline. I've been working on building my weaknesses into strengths for some time, and man did they resonate. I don't typically see myself as fun and outgoing. I feel introverted, quiet, reflective. Though, I do enjoy hosting parties or dinners where people are happy, laughing, creating memories. Love the holidays for this reason. Most of this was pretty spot on for me. I can only say that long before I knew what a life path number was I was out here gaining more and more self-control and freedom. To hear this now is almost confirmation that I discovered my purpose without knowing what it was.

My mom was a 5 and boy was she a 5! We moved constantly throughout my childhood and she was married 3 times and they all lasted 7 years (a bit Funny) she had me and my brother in her last marriage but she kept on moving around with us in all parts of our country! She couldn’t stand to be locked on a workplace so she was always home ! She said that she actually was allergic to demands of others inclusive workplaces

I'm a 5 life path, an aries, born a horse (Chinese astrology), born on the 60 year cycle where my good AND bad traits are intensified....so I guess, as a female, it was my destiny all along to have been single my whole life. I have finally settled in an accepted the fact that I'm very independent. I've always been happier alone than in a relationship. You know, in every other video of Life Path 5 I've seen (and I'm not saying I've seen many), I haven't felt that that's "me" at all, because I have never been a "grab the bull by the horns type of person." I'm really glad that you talked about the negative aspects, because many of them fit me better. Something I've always been a bit disappointed with myself on, in astrology, is that I've always been extremely HORRIBLE about finishing what I start, despite being a Taurus. With this, things make a lot more sense xD Even the bit about some 5's being gay is interesting, as I'm asexual!

Much of this rly resonates for me, altho I crave I intellectual, emotional and spiritual freedom, I'm absolutely content to stay at home. I also (thank God) have not had addictive tendencies. But I know definitely that discipline is something I struggle hard w, and basically my whole natal chart spells out for me that this is the lofetime to work it out. Yoga philosophy and meditation have helped, tho I still can't get an actual routine down 🤣 Thank you!
