Hi Justin, great content, no nonsense, love that! I shoot beer cans quite alot but always seem to get a dark stripe in the center of the can. This can sometimes be solved by chilling it before the shoot but I was wondering if you got any other tips on that, maybe reflect light differently or something!

Hi! Yes lighting from the Left or Right can create a dark channel in the center, some people solve this by cutting a hole in a diffuser, and shooting the lens through it, to get the stubborn center when needed. But there are also a lot of beautiful possibilities without a center light! Best of luck! Make sure to check out our "Bottle Support Plate" workphlo.shop/b Cheers

Hi Great video AGAIN! few questions? I noticed at the start of your Photoshop that the layers were coloured normally there no any reason for this? Also can you explain a wee bit more in your editing parts from us beginners please? maybe moving the mouse over and explaining whats being affected. Thanks again for a great video..

Hi dustin. You're amazing as always, much love. Just a few criticisms.. please tell us your camera settings while you are shooting, will help us beginners understand what f-stop you're using and what shutter speed. Another thing. Would it be possible to have your attachments be larger? I photograph vinyl records that are 12 in x 12 in so I think your stand attachments are too small.

Hey, thanks for the suggestions! I may make a larger support plate at some point and will try to send you the link!

Thank you! Love your teaching style. I’ve been trying to create an image of raspberries in a wine glass( no liquid). Just can’t seem to get them lit without the glass having weird reflections. Am I trying something very advanced for a beginner?

This one is cool but a bit too much editing for my liking. It felt a bit too much like it was more in the editing than it was in the actual lighting and setup. A sort of uncaring fly by the seat of your pants kind of setup. As cool as the editing was, it was so un-characteristic of the actual shot, I'm not sure if I like it.
