I wish I had done these when I had an infant, a 2 year old and a job. I always felt they had to come first, but if you’re not good to yourself, you can’t be good for anyone else either. It’s not selfish to take care of yourself. Thanks so much, Hannah. Keep talking about mental health.

Hannah, thank you for your light-hearted video on mental health. You should collaborate with the high schools and do Zoom calls about this. I'm in Volusia county, Florida. My son would come home after his mandatory mental health classs and say, " that was a waste of time!". The slogan that was given to the students was, "Be Happy". You would help so many students! Thanks again! GOD bless! 😀💞

@@sayitaintsl0w yeeees I’m the same I NEVER think of him when I’m awake but as soon as I fall asleep he pops up. At least we can find comfort in the fact that we are not doing it intentionally and that we are over them. It‘s just our brain playing games with us🤪

Ii love your videos and you ,I love , I've been dealing with anxiety and depression for a long time. Your tips are great. I have 1 things I do I live in a small town, there is a lot. These are EXACTLY my list as well. Add to this eating a good meal and declarations. Doing 100 per day so helped me get out of stuff mentally when there was so much negative words in my head.
@vickieandrews57093 жыл бұрын
You are not a weird-o. You are so correct that we need to take care of our mental health. We need to learn how to stop the negative talk we have in our head. Try to add positive affirmations as a routine in the morning. Then when a negative thought comes in tell yourself STOP and list 5 positive affirmations to change your thought patterns. This raises our vibrations , just like music does and the universe will respond to our positive vibrations. Thank you for the good reminder to check ourselves and build a routine.

Thanks for making this video Hannah and beingso honest and open! These are all very good and important tips and I agree - I think everyone should go and see a therapist at least once in their lifetime. We all need support and guidance at times. We should turn off our devices at least 2 hour before bed as blue light messes with your brain/sleep. OR at least get glasses that block blue light. You can have blue light blocking added two prescription glasses when you get new ones or you can get non-prescription lenses that block blue light on Amazon. It really helps.

I feel like I'm resurfacing from a difficult time. Since January I felt more and more drained.. I've kept myself work busy even during winter holidays (so I worked even from 28th to 30th december) and as much I kept saying "I'm feeling fine" I saw the difference when I took a few days off work and it totally made sense. Then I felt like someone 'invaded' my space when my housemate kept inviting her gf at our home, I discussed with housemate and now I barely see them and they don't monopolize anymore the kitchen and the bathroom, so it's all good. Also cause of the virus I was homesick, didn't go back home town to visit family not even on christmas or easter, was able to go on summer 2020. I finally went back for 2 days and it was like my stress has never even existed. Felt like I didn't have a purpose to go take a walk, cause I live in a very heavy buildings district, so I kept seeing people around and there is no park near by... the fact that I'll buy an house soon made me motivated to walk a lot during weekends to check the future district. So now I'd say I'm back being happy and satisfied with my life and I'll be back home for a little bit for the summer too :)
@littleruiners3 жыл бұрын
So yeah, about the tips, I'd say I totally agree. Being stuck in the house for more than a year it was difficult, I've never experienced something like that.. and I mean the world was messed up and I experienced some different faces during this 'lockdown' (real lockdown in march 2020, I'm from Italy, then stuck seeing everyone else outside and me working from home, craziness over masks, getting used with staying away from people, slowly developing stress, realize all problems came from stress). Lately I've been opening up to friends and family, I believe now that by talking, so point 4, you'll def will make a difference in your life.
