lserrano, yeah my hair needs tons of water or else as you said it gets sticky & puffy. Heck sometimes that still happens with more water if I’ve had a really bad time trying to refresh.

In my experience, it takes time for your hair. The longer i have been curly, the less water and effort goes into it
