I got this setup in my kitchen. Exercise tiles, and a tennis ball. You cannot hear a thing. Anytime I'm cooking it's time to do a lil work. What's the time, how's my food doing, keep that head on a swivel. I also move side to side picking up my feet to make sure I'm doing 3 things at the same time, stick handling, skating, and keeping my head up... and cooking.

Let me know if you like this style of "follow along" video and what you're working on / need the most to improve your game!

As someone who never played ice hockey and started street hockey in my late 20s....I love your vids. Nobody really gave me advice to improve my game and since I've watched some of your shooting drills I'm already a better goal scorer! Will definitely try this one too! My stick handling has improved the last couple of months but I need to practice at home. Perfect vid for it!

I just started hockey this year at 17. Your videos really helped me and I’m aiming to be able to roster as an AP for my local tier 2 A team before the deadline of Jan 1. So far I’ve went from crappy skater and no puck control to scoring 4 goals 3 assists in 6 games. Keep up the great content!

It helps a lot, I hate to admit it, but I used to hate doing this, watching this video over and over, but it actually does help! At first and during the rest of the week your hands and arms burn like crazy, but it gets better and this helped me a lot in games, thank you!

Been ice skating and rollerblading my whole life and just joined hockey at 17 so my skill is really off-balance, so stuff like this helps so much to bring my stick level up to my skating level lol

It's been a week and I can tell I'm not turning it over half the amount of times. Also worked on toe drags so I don't keep giving them the poke.
@jakewilliams2613 Жыл бұрын
@@scambaitspidey3470 I recommend that only use the toe drag if your in the poke check zone and their about to poke check you. Besides that I think a quick pullover/ pull to the side is better if your skating into the zone and your about to reach the poke Check zone because it more consistent and works just as good!

Do this every day for a week and let me know if it helps! The best way to improve a skill is to practice it for a short time every day. Each new day will build on the previous days improvements. This works much better than longer but less frequent training sessions. This routine is from our training website The Pond where we break down every skill into easy to follow courses that you can follow. You can join us there at thepond.howtohockey.com/

Question to the community : i really felt in my shoulder. I will continue and hope it is just the unusual movement as it was my second time today. Anybody Else feel it there?
