I am so glad I found this game. I just introduced it to my class of 9 & 10 year olds. They absolutely love it!!! So easy for any of them to just tap in or out between dungeons to have a whole crew play. They can't wait for me to get a copy of 5-Minute Marvel so we can have 2 games going at the same time. Their next challenge is to create their own Dungeon Bosses, Heros and Door Cards, which they can't wait to get stuck into, drawing and writing the character blurbs for. They love the humour, the frantic gameplay pace, the simplicity of learning and the ability to think strategically to beat the harder bosses.

@@wahlberliner If they like it, then keep a lookout for the expansion pack Curses! Which lets you have a 6th player, and adds in power up items. There's also 5-Minute Marvel version, where they can be all the usual Marvel Avengers. So if you're clever you can have up to 12 kids playing the 2 games at once!

I got this game and played it at my sisters 27th b-day party. this is a lot more difficult than you would expect. it is hella chaotic and having a wizard to stop time is almost required. time constraint is serious

There are many details left out here and in the included rule booklet. Still looks like fun. - do you keep your hand up to the minimum at all times? There are others but I can't recall them right now. Rules could have more details in them, people will house rule any game.

No you don't always keep you hand at the minimum, but if you go over you can't draw anymore until back down or lower to minimum.

Hi, few Question: Can we throw cards against a door or a mini boos which does not match the symbol but is a combo card? for example what the RED deck has? As a matter of fact, can you just throw unwanted cards at the monster which does not match the resource type in case of doors and mini bosses? THX

Do you reshuffle your discard pile back to your hand between dungeons? Do you ever get back the cards played to the center of the table? There are cards and abilities that return your discard pile, so why would you ever throw away your resource cards, except if you have no other.

What do you do when playing with 2 players and neither has the resources or ability to defeat the door card un their hand or as their hero ability? Just discard and draw new cards until you can defeat it?

Best brief video for this game. My game came with no instructions and no green cards, and double blue cards lol. Just using blue cards with extra arrows for green. How many cards for each player per # of players?

I'm sure you've figured it out by now but.... 2 players - 5 cards 3 players - 4 cards 4 or 5 players - 3 cards. *2 players also use a second deck each shuffled into their selected hero cards. But you can only use one here mat.

Also, the video doesn't explain what happens if you run out of cards to draw from your deck (by watching Beer & Board Games,I found out that nothing happens - you're just out of cards).(Question: At the end of a round including a Confusion event, do you return the passed cards to the original owners?)

We've always played it as meaning both. In our game room it means you've got both a sword and a shield (as an example) to throw at something.

From the directions: For two player games You'll need additional cards. Each of you should select a second deck and shuffle both decks together.

This tells you mechanics, but not how to play! Is this just a free for all everyone playing at once or do you go around the table each person playing a card one at a time. This is never addressed in this video or in the rule book for the game.

Sometimes those pesky instructions accidently omit some basic information on accident since they're made by other humans or put it in an obscure place as after thought. Thanks for the help.

20 rounds, we did not defeat the 2nd boss. We have only 12 cards and 10 are needed. We redraw to 4, since we are 3 players, but we never came close to beat him... Still fun...but now confusing and frustrating. We did not use classes which can redraw.

Do the special cards allow you to beat a mini boss? Does the special on a hero (drop 3 cards) allow you to beat a mini boss (monster)?

I know this is two weeks old, but I would say no. The mini-boss is a "mini-boss" typed card and not a "monster" typed card.

Best to play in bursts I've found. Like to finish a whole game is anywhere between 15-20 min if you win every dungeon...then you could make it harder by making some house rules/ restrictions.

Not really, everyone is on the same timer. You could hardly afford to wait for someone to get though a turn when you don't have a great deal of time to spare.

The game is so much fun! The instructions that come with the game suck. This video also leaves more questions than answers. I had to watch multiple review videos before I felt like I knew what I was doing, playing properly. Maybe I'm an idiot. 🤷‍♂️

The game looks great can't wait to play however....this is a "how to" video not a rock video the music is extremely distracting. It is as if the host and the music are competing to see who can drown out the other. I will have to find another tutorial to watch.
