4 bread slices (cut into round shapes)
1 bowl curd
Salt to taste
A pinch of red chili powder
2 tablespoons green chutney (coriander chutney)
2 tablespoons jaggery chutney
1 small onion (finely chopped)
1 small beetroot (grated)
1 small tomato (finely chopped)
Sev namkeen (for garnish)
Raisins (for garnish)
Curry leaves (finely chopped, for garnish)
Chaat masala (for seasoning)
Degi mirch (for seasoning)
Method:
First, take a bowl of curd, add salt and a pinch of red chili powder, and mix well. Dip one slice of bread into this curd mixture and place it on a plate. Spread green chutney and jaggery chutney over the dipped bread slice. Then, dip another slice of bread in curd and place it on top of the first one. Now, start adding the toppings: finely chopped onion, grated beetroot, and finely chopped tomato. Sprinkle some sev namkeen, raisins, and finely chopped curry leaves for extra flavor. Finally, season with chaat masala and degi mirch. Your delicious and healthy bread chaat is ready to serve!
