Rust, Rakell, and Crosby are a SUPER LINE. Lizotte has a +6 and leads the team. Only Rakell +2 and Poulin +1 have a plus rating. Lizotte has played 20 games and has 8 goals and 4 assists for 12 points. Thanks for pointing out the Pens record with Lizotte in the lineup Dan.

Watching on TV and hearing the booing after the Flyers 2nd goal was surprising. The Pens like you said were up 4-2 after that. What’s wrong with that? I didn’t really know too much what they were booing at as I thought it was ridiculous to boo the home team after that

Pittsburgh has turned into a city of scumbag fans over seemingly just the last 2-3 years. In all 3 sports we now boo our own players after mistakes. Embarrassing. We became entitled after the golden pens runs and Big Ben and now are largely awful fans who will drive players out of town, stopping to Philadelphia fan level

I've been paying close attention to P.O. and I'm really enthusiastic about him being back after what I have seen. He seems soo much more capable of pinching than any if the other d-men. Hes physical and a nuisance to opposing players. Comfortable and assertive with the puck.

Me too. I didn’t really get why they let him go in the offseason when they didn’t necessarily have anything better lower down in the lineup

@@angelaa.9915 parsing Dubas’s words (article on PHN), they were afraid of the arbitrator’s award. So it was a tough call. Why both sides didn’t agree to a two year, $2 million deal, which was more than he got in StL, I do not know.

They have to play that way to be successful. They don't have the speed on the team to play like they did in 2016 and 2017. When they play track meet hockey they lose most of the time

@4:45 - this is what frustrated me reading the Pens threads on Reddit (no surprise for that platform), which more or less mirrors your observations. For a while last year and earlier this season, I was making comments of a more general nature, attempting to avoid the more heated style of others (there were a number earlier this fall that were demanding that the Pens just deliberately tank and take a dive every game for unconfirmed "better" draft prospects in the future), but now I don't spend much time even lurking and reading any of them at all, even with the much appreciated improvements the team has been making. I just got tired of the snark overload. I see enough of that during baseball season with the local Mariners.

What are you talking. The fans boo'd cause this team was doing exactly what u said yourself they stopped playing. And everyone had a feeling the ship was going down so when it became 4-3 nobody cared anymore cause out was expected. The team had the ability to just stop. It's not about losing. It's about just taking the score for granted n becoming stagnant. It's very fair to boo
