FUN FACT! If you are in a house fire and get the bright idea to douse yourself in water to make it harder to catch on fire, you're in for a surprise! Fire is hot. Heat and water don't actually mix. When you douse yourself in water, and come in contact with fire, that water turns to steam, and you still get burns, but now MUCH WORSE! Isn't physics awesome?

I remember there was a mod (not from loverslab) that made enemies surrender if they were alone and below certain health amount. And then you have options: you can send them to a settlement as a settler (they will start a riot if there's too many prisoners and not enough defence), you can free them and, of course, you can kill them. And there's also carma system. I'm not sure how it works, but it is there at least.

I wish this sight mod was made earlier and utilized as well. Mostly because not every mod use see through scope but some weapons required see through scope. I like see through scope but it's best on optics. Anything with 6x zoom on up have major problems. Like the gun start looking weird, some modders put the wrong zoom in so the scopes look like it's mile away, and sometime my armor / backpack appear in front of my camera.

@@generic_tough_guy.4830 For me It might be a fov problem. For the ones that make my gun look weird and weird zooms that's on my for messing with unfinished weapons. The part I was referring to with the armor and backpacks appearing in front of my camera is any weapon with a long scope or "sniper" scope. It's usually the left arm piece and backpack that gets in the way. The two weapons I can think of right now is the Remington 700 and XM 2010 rifle

I think the vanilla power armor hud is cool but it looks like that so you can see through it even if it gets rid of a lot of immersion

There's a mod (been ported to xbox) that removes dismemberment completely, except for melee, shotguns, and explosives (obviously). It's a must have for immersion. I like the dismemberment mechanics in general, but a 10mm handgun making someone burst into a pile of flesh and bones just makes me wish there was a Metro game with fallout's ability to interact with vast amounts of very specific items.

I just want to point out that you actually _can_ disarm people in the base game, it's just hidden behind perks. Iron Fist and Big Leagues unlock increasing chance of disarming with melee starting at rank 2, while Gunslinger does it for non-auto pistols at 4. Based on the wiki, it also appears that there is either a hidden stat or cut mod for the ripper to give +25% disarm. I suppose that, technically speaking, the disarm perks would still stack with cripple-disarming, but it feels like it would cheapen those effects a little.

I like it when only the scope is magnified. The think with that "scope fix" is that the part outside the scope's circle is the same magnification as the scope. Best examples would be the scopes from KillingFloor 1& 2 off the top of my head.

The power armor hud overlay mods are excellent! My only major complaint is that none of them (to my knowledge) support ultrawide displays. ): I'd be fine with filling the space with black since it would be your peripheral vision anyway.

i too prefer scopes overlay mod over STS since its very lighweight and doesn't have compatibility issues and patches needed. Dak can you review Mornedil's Combat Rework mod? its a very lightweight combat overhaul and includes the crippled limbs effects

I use STS and and scope overlay on Xbox and its a perfect combination, there's no reason not to use both tbh unless you're on console and are reaching your mod limit, I'd almost say use this over STS I'm my opinion since yeah you don't get the reticle options but it works with literally every scope in any mod ever, so you don't have to waste space on patches for a certain mod. In the end though use both you won't be disappointed

I used and loved Suit Up - Unique Power Armor Hud overlays, but I found it way to glitchy. Half the time the overlay wouldn't turn on right away. I had to take off and on the helmet to make it check to see if it was on and that would most of the time cause me to get kicked out of my power. It's not fun to get a black screen, then be forced out of the power armor because the hud didn't load and somehow kicked me out. Also I don't get the upset about lack of power armor training? Bethesda added something and then removed it. You think that would make fans more happy giving they removed a retcon they made up that fallout 1 and 2 didn't have.

I think it would be neat to give PA different special effects with and without training. Like agility -1 if untrained, because it would take some getting used to operating a complex weapon with those power armored hands. It'd be like trying to thread a needle with ski gloves on.

Live Dismemberment looks good on paper, but it's very strange to see a raider attacking you without both arms and acting like it was a scratch and massive bleeding isn't something to worry about. Yeah, you can pretend they are high on drugs and adrenaline so they can ingore the pain, but still...

there is a mod which let you combine defense of your power armour with your defense of your character and have effects of your legendary armour and power armour effects activated at same time ? because dont have sense that when you have a high defense and when you wear power armour this defense is reduced or replaced by power armour and when your power armor is destroyed you have a defense like if you didnt have any clothes or nothing when you have all your clothes with power frame but you have less defense than when you werent using power frame or power armor in general.

I'm just looking for mods that make gameplay hard and realistic, like if I get a headshot on a weak humanoid enemy they should die, ghouls, humans. Some more robotic synths should be able to survive without a head sometimes but they're accuracy would decrease, super mutants could take like 3 or 2 shots to the head unless it's an anti material rifle then maybe they have a chance to survive 1 headshot and enemies should also be able to kill me just as easily. I just hate that in these games increasing difficulty usually just means turning the enemies into bullet sponges while you just collapse if the wind kicks ups little too hard.
