You need to downgrade to properly use mods right now. I have a downgrade tutorial with the current depot code in the pinned comment.

Mods aren’t available on the new version yet. You can always downgrade and install the patcher that way. I already have tutorials on how to do that.

How do I install a mod that doesn’t use an x2m file? I’ve found some cool mods but can’t use them due to them having the wrong file

Depends on the type of mod. Most are X2Ms but some are Installers and should be an application. If it’s simply a hair or model replacement it’s probably just a copy and paste to whatever the 3 letter code is in your data folder.

You can’t play online with mods unless you have other people who have the same mods you do
